I have custody of my children, you asshat. I share custody with their father. Their father happens to live by their schools, and we decided when we divorced that we would leave them in their schools to try and keep the changes to a minimum. The courts were ready to give me full custody with only visitation to their father, but I did NOT want to seperate them from their dad. He deserves to be their father as much as I deserve to be their mother. Since I had moved in with my parents during the divorce, and they lived 30 miles from my kids school, we agreed together that he would keep them during the week, and I would have them weekends and holidays. I tried several times to get a job in that area, or live in that area, but it hasn't worked out. When I do have a job/apartment near their schools, then I have custody of them 50% of the time.
Not that it's any of your business. You just assume I'm a shitty mother and the courts didn't give me custody. While I'll be the first to admit I'm far from mother of the year, I do love my kids and want the best for them. Right now, with as unsteady and unstable my life is, it IS best for them to stay with their dad during the week so they can continue to go to school with the friends they have and the teachers they know.
So, Decix, while I may be a bad mother, and make mistakes with raising my kids, at least I'm not a pathetic liar who makes up shit that sounds more interesting than "My dad pulled the plug on my router because I'm grounded again."
