It's confirmed that Unstable state boosts cadence damage. I tested it out in beta at lvl 25 or so. Cadence was hitting for 30, with blazing fury it went up to 34-35, and with unable state went up to 37-38. Cadence hits for weapon + some other multiplier in damage so a good chunk of it gets boosted.

Now that I know about coup de grace I'll have to respec again! 20 respecs later and now I find out about something as big as that.... I feel like a noob.

Can anyone confirm whether spell power boosts cadence? There's a nice mace that drops in FC expert with some spell power on it. It's meant for clerics but both I roll with already have one.

I know cadence is only effected by your main hand weapon, and was thinking of using it in my off hand.

Just attack power for rogues. Spell stats are for casters only. They didn't do the eq2 thing making bards a caster.

Would it be worth it to do a Bard hybrid soul, like maybe an Assassin/Bard where you use Backstab to get combo points and then pick a Bard coda for a finisher?

I don't think so, one thing that might be worth it is to pickup a nice finisher though. Wrath of Fury is ok, but I'm sure there are better one's out there.

Cadence builds combo points very quickly and ticks for about 110 damage a second and heals for the same. Most rogues have their gcd so can't build combo points nearly as quickly. With cadence it's guaranteed you'll be at 3 in 3 seconds.

Bards do get combo point building attacks too, like rift and the other one... can't remember the name atm because it's not on my hotbar.

The finisher heal is OK... but it only heals for around 560 I think? I can't recall right now. Anyways, the finisher doesn't boost hps very much. Usually as a bard in a dungeon I sit at around 180-250 hps per encounter. My number is more dependant on how much damage the group is taking rather then how much I wish I could heal on the tank. Everything is aoe.

For t1 experts I've been running 17 Nightblade, 5 Riftstalker (+atk power), 44 bard. Worked a treat so far. That attack power combined with % buffs from Nightblade can put out some decent numbers from both heals and dmg codas. Not exactly comparable to dps classes, but solid build.

When raiding comes around, I might have to look into getting that 51 bard talent depending on duration of fights and how well other people regen mana. Untill then, suck a potion.

I'm only level 20, but soloing with Bard/Ranger/Sin is killer. With the healing of the bard, I have literally zero downtime while playing.

This is my level 20 build.

You'll find that when your initial ranger pet stops leveling at 30, he will be unable to maintain aggro or even really survive long at around 35ish. Then you have to either go for another pet, consider him a dot and not a tank, or ditch him altogether.

So what becomes more viable at 30? Because I tried blademaster combos, and they were slow as shit compared to my bard, so I just want a fast killing solo machine.
