I run sab/ranger/nb atm, and keep trying other builds and am finding it consistently parses higher. I keep going back to it even though on release if you'd asked me if I wanted to play a pet or rdps role I'd have said no way in hell to both.
    sab/nb/sin still outparses sab/ranger/xx

Hum, I'll try it out in raid. On a dummy I know Sab/Ranger/NB parses higher, but Sab/Ranger/NB might perform better.

From my experience I parse at 800-900 myself, my pet does maybe 140 which is decent.

Myself I like range because without bladedancer you don't get a charge. I'll test out my dps tonight and give a more accurate account of raid dps.

I haven't been able to outparse my Sab spec on the dummies with anything except for a really weird sin/BD/ranger spec which isn't realistic for raids at all.

Myself and 2 other rogues in the raid all run Sab/NB/sin and the only people who outparse us are DPS warriors, and we go back and forth, but if it's a fight where there isn't much movement, they destroy us.

I'd like to see a few of your 800+ parses tbh, if you don't mind linking them.

I'm not using ACT, I'm using the riftjunkies parser. I can't get the plug in to work for rift.

It's exporting the file as .csv and riftflames doesn't accept the extension, I can convert it to a .txt file and it will still be usable correct?

Anyways, for this fight I came in at 708 dps and the pet came in at 96, so I just broke 800. The pet died at least once irrc. Not my best parse, but a good parse to use because my assignment was to stay on the boss the entire encounter. If I can figure out how to upload it I will. Even though my assignment was to stay on the boss, some of that number might be splash damage from frag charges.

    What numbers are sab/assn/nb hitting?

Have you guys seen anything in your parses that indicate auto attack not staying on in Sab builds? At one point I was parsing a Ranger/Sab/xx build using charge rotations (was pre-1.1 at the time) and noticed my auto attacks were few and far between. From then on i always keep my auto-attack and auto-shot buttons on a side bar to make sure they stay on, and have noticed both ranged and melee full charge rotations sporadically cancel autos. Detonate turns it back on, which makes me want to macro startattack into my charges, but then I know I'd screw up and pull when it came time to pre-charge a boss.

Just curious if you guys have noticed this or if its just me. While auto attack damage is small, the proc's of Hellfire Blades, etc. are more important.

For me, as a melee Sab, if I'm not in melee range, my AA obviously will not turn on, IDK if you were maybe too far back or too close to the mob for Ranged AA to come on, but that could be an issue. I have noticed, even when in melee range, like on the dummy for example, that my AA would turn off for some reason. This hasn't happened that often, but I've noticed it a few times out of countless hours spent on the training dummy.

And yeah, I like my AA too. Serrated Blades/Lethal Poison/Hellfire Blades
