Default Blazing Fury and Blast Charges

Anyone know if they work together? Blazing fury - night blade +damage from combo point generating abilities Blast Charges - adds a combo point, but does damage only when detonate is used

Blazing fury, probably not. Coup de Grace however should work on detonate.

Devs have said specificallly that Blazing Fury does work with charges.

However, building as a Sab + Assassin + NB is not best imo, unless you want to play in melee range at all times. You need to pick up either Marksman or Ranger in order for ranged autoattack to work properly. (Ranged Master innate only comes with those 2 souls.)

To clearly answer the question of the OP, I have tested every conceivable combination on dummies to see what works on charges:

Blazing Fury works on all your charges.
Unstable state works on all your non-physical (earth damage) charges (and bombs.)
Poison potency works on all your charges.

Everything else that works on charges is generic and obvious (increase to physical dmg, increase to dmg, increase to AP, etc.). Marksman abilities that increase damage with ranged weapons do NOT affect charges.

Oh, and coup de grace works on detonate and every other damaging finisher, but does NOT work on Bard's coda of restoration.

Specing ranger is stupid? Only if you don't own a parser. I can't see any top dps builds not including a pet in this game. For 31 points you gain a lot in ranger, and are left with the rest for whatever abilities you want.

I run sab/ranger/nb atm, and keep trying other builds and am finding it consistently parses higher. I keep going back to it even though on release if you'd asked me if I wanted to play a pet or rdps role I'd have said no way in hell to both.

Was merely making the necro poster happy and making the statement accurate. Not sure what you're inferring, but I'm not implying anything else.
