I read up on eq2raidmobs, memorized what potions I needed, what resists were required then as always we raided .

Reading it on the net and putting it into practice with people who have never raided or have little raid experience isn't going to kill Mayong first time. That's common sence.

I'm not raiding because I want wtf pwn things and take the easy route. I want to be a in a guild that is working it's way up the ladder.

Let's face facts every raid guild has a beginning even the Fables, Xanadu's, Defiants, Redemptions had to start some where.

It's the people who stick out the rough time that makes guild strong and it's impatient people for easy street who miss out of the building process.

There is just something to be said for making our own achievments .

We have never professed to be perfect or the best just that we want up there with the best. Time and dedication will make it happen

As for Avatars. Everyone is currently wiping to Michief so who really cares
Last i know almost every server that got Mischief to pop 2 times haven't got it a third time.
And no matter if u're an expert at Avatars knowledge without the gear you won't be able to 1/ Dps fast enough 2/ Keep up the mana regen going 3/ Live through the aoes.

Most of the 70 main toons already got through the bristlebane quest and the amount of faction has decreased since the introduction of Mischief. Besides when u have a brawler obsessed with the star-forged bo, u get up at 2.30 to kill the Avatar of Fear.

you basicly have two types of players, the ones that wants to join a guild that already did all the work and just get loot for free and then reach the top without having anything to do with the actual progression of the guild they are in.

Then you got the type of player that actually goes through the practice runs, the wipes and the figuring out strats. Every time a guild puts a new thing on their farm list, people in guilds that are working to get there are looking for an easy way to get in on it.

In Rebellion we have people that really want to be part of the progression, because the progression in it self is so much fun. Rebellion looks up to many of the other guilds on our server, and we are nothing more than the little brother trying to grow, but we are determined to get there and we all do believe that we will one day. As time goes on and we get a stable raidforce our goals becomes reachable.

I am pretty sure, that everyone that has been in a guild since the beginning of EoF that remembers how they worked on figureing out the strats, how they wiped and kept wiping until everyone in the guild caught on the mechanics of the encounter, how extremely good it felt once they finally got it down. They must also remember how putting that very mob or zone on farmlist made people flow to the guild wanting to join, because now that very guild was one step ahead of everyone else and the people that had not gotten to do it yet, wanted to be part of just that.

Its a way to go, we have raided actively with this setup for 2 months now, people are getting used to the mechanics in the game and due to that, we are getting more and more success.

Topic of alt guilds achieving great things.. That is very logical, because even tho the alts may be poorly equiped, everyone understands the encounters so well that theres no one caught in a surprize. Knowing exactly how the encounter works, is something that comes from experience, and with experience comes the ability to achieve great things. The above posts just supports that statement.

Rebellion is having tons of fun doing what we do. Our members are having tons of fun improving and learning new things about the game every day, the very same things that some guilds learned months ago and takes for granted today, its a learning curve, everyone must go through it, it takes time, dedication and plenty of trying and failing.

As far as strats goes, in Rebellion we try to rediscover every strat on our own. Not because we cant log into a page and read them off the page, but because we feel that doing so, will not elevate our understanding of the game to the point where we can discover new tactics for the coming expansion. However, had we read up on every strat and copied everyone else, we might of even progressed faster, but in all honesty, we play as if mobs have not been killed before, and therefor we take every single win we get as a personal achievement, simply because we took the time to try and fail the encounter enough to figure it all out for ourselves.

We are proud of that, and its a way of doing things that will carry rebellion way into the new expansion with the same progression curve as we have today, wich will be very intersting to follow as we always do compare ourselves to the "bigger-brothers" out there.

As far as tanking goes, Im a completely noob tank, but i am not noob to the game, and as far as tanking skills goes, they are improving together with the developement of our other players. If you can say that you dont learn anything in the game no more, I think you seriously need to reconsider yourself, because i have never, to this day, found any single player in any online game like this that still dosnt have more to learn about the game as they play it. It is the driving force behind theses games, that you unlock more and more secrets and you become able to util it to do remarkable things.

All in all, It humors me that people bash our guild, because we have not done anything to anyone to deserve it. Those that blames it on me as a person, does this because i at some point have set them straight in a way that they can not handle, mostly everyone that gets told to change things when not ready for it, will go defensive and build up a wall of hate around them, aka defensive mechanics. Its human nature, but it doen not really reflect onto me, it only exposes the very people that flames me.

Strategic knowledge comes from trying and failing, if a guilds sollution to any encounter they have problems with is, MORE DPS, MORE DPS, then eventually that strategy will fail, and that is part reason why Fizzleblood died and why I did not fit in, because the creativity was simply not at the standard i needed in order to see a win as anything more than a pure zerg.

Now go back to the alt guilds and pay attention to the fact that skills exceeds gear, knowledge exceeds dps races and success depends on stability and the guts to keep trucking even tho it seems to be against a brick wall, because with enough poundage, that wall will eventually crack and success may be the treasure hidden behind it. =)

To Epitaphe, Meta, Alinabal and everyone else that might have something to say, produce factual arguments that supports your statements. Personal opinions and hurt emotions are not vaild and you should try to keep it to yourself, because it only enlightens everyone else about your own personal defeats, not mine. =)

you forgot Rycin, Drelin and most of the rest of Fizzleblood

Nice sales pitch, thought about selling Cars or Insurance?

Youre not stoned at the moment perchance?

You have to wonder, you point out the raid leader who is the main tank and the guild leader who think youre a douchebag.... go figure

Alinabal, your thougths are your own, but the fact remains, as a brigand i can prove that you suck based on the logs and time i spent with you. That is not an opinion, thats a fact. Seperate your own whining opinions from solid facts and you might have an argument.

Rycin: I never knew you long enough to say anything about you, still you have a lot to say about me, is that because your fragile eggshell mind was wide open to others input that you bought without verifcation? As far as your skills goes, you are incredible, and I wont deny skills when i see them, you have them all. =)
