Hmm wouldn't you be able to get around that by simply posting from different browsers (one account on firefox, the other on IE)?

Obviously it wouldn't stop the shared IP being found out if someone takes the time to physically check but anyone with half a brain would keep the two forum identities as far apart as possible to keep from being reported to a mod.

yea, but it's not against the rules to post from same IP, is it? I mean, it could just be 2 ppl living together. I know me and my bf has the same IP, but not same comp..and that has fucked alot of shit up on e.g. vent and some forums.

I would imagine that that would come down to perceived intent, if you have two accounts that you fully admit are shared but independent with no attempt to use one to bolster the others reputation anonymously (as Ani tried to do here) then the forum admins wouldn't care.

No clue if that is how it's treated by LFG etc, just my opinion.
