Two questions, evasion and auto attack.
hey folks,
as title says i had two question, both maybe not specifically SK orientated but since if feel all non-SK cannot be truely trusted i ask them here anyway
number one, i'm wondering about what is more usefull during raids. Cast my own evasion spell on a key class so they might stay alive 0.3 more sec when they get aggro, and more importantly i get the 14.4 extra parry (not at my own comp atm to check it up so could be a wee bit more or less). Or let one of the brawlers or another tank cast his/hers on me so i get the chance to use their avoidance?
and number two, any imput on an effective way to time your skill between auto attacks? I have tried both by just looking at the visuals, as well as an extra combat tap to keep track of my autgoing dammage. But i found both ways rather unefficient. Anyone know a better way to do this?
Anyway, thx for hearing me out and hope some of ya have some imput

Re: Two questions, evasion and auto attack.
You should always let another fighter, if possible, cast their avoidance buff on you, because you will gain much more overall avoidance than if you were to cast your own avoidance buff on somebody else.
As for timing auto-attack, if you're having problems that means you need to get a slower weapon, it'll make it a lot easier.

Cheers, good to know
As for the auto attack, i dont keep track of this with a single handed weapon, only with 2 handers and i hardly use weapons with a delay lower then 5. Maybe its just me, that why i was wondering what way other peeps keep track of this, but i find myself waiting for the auto attack to hit for way to long sometimes and missing valuable skill spamming time.

Re: Two questions, evasion and auto attack.
When timing autoattacks, I use Advanced Combat Tracker and set my triggers to beep whenever the parser picks up "YOU slash" or "YOU try to slash" or "YOU critically slash". With a 6-second delay weapon and full-bore STR line haste, depending on group buffs, I usually wait for the beep, queue 3 seconds or so worth of skills (like a 1.5 second cast and a half second, or two 1-second casts, which works out to about 3 seconds with recovery time), and then wait for another swing. It also helps me if I keep track of Swiftaxe, because whether it's up or not will usually determine whether or not I should queue a third skill. Although if I'm with an illusionist or any other class that buffs haste, I've generally got enough haste that keeping track of Swiftaxe doesn't make that big of a difference.

I've Always timed it with a seperate text box (with fairly good success), but thats a damned good idea, I think I may try that myself. Props Jikko.
