I posted a message on the eq2 official forums and a developer PM'd me. This was after waiting almost 24 hours for a GM to reply to my petition of which they promptly told me can't help you with epic quests, sory we can't help you with your request. Needless to say I was a bit miffed.. 5.5 hours after I was stuck bugged, Symbiotic a guildy disco'd the weapon. (I could have had it first man!)

The dev asked me what was wrong, describe the problem in a PM.. a few replies later he asked me what my quest journal said, 2 minutes after I replied on the pm system at the forums, the mob appeared.... he said he was going to look into the issue, that I was the only one with this problem. this was two days ago, since many others have had the same issue.

took about 2 hours after that mob died.. to finish it. 25 hours after it bugged on me.

what a bitch.

Nice write up Lopann, that last bit is classic I actually got my update for the Arch pain in the ass early this morning. Special thanks to EO and Mayhem for the early morning hookup.

Funny shit was the brilliant GM updated my case after I closed it, telling them I got it already, saying there was nothing he could do and some dumb ass form letter cut paste saying were looking into it blah blah blah. Anyways two quick instances and 1 kill and I am done then its off to MMC and MMIs.

I just killed Glohner for the quest and there was no chest to loot. I read another walkthrough and it said the talisman of envy was from his brother in City of Mist. can anyone confirm this ?

Yeah the walkthrough is missing a step there. The Guy in Edge Water Drains gives an autoupdate, all SKS in the group get it. Then you return to CoM and kill the quest giver. He drops the talisman, and only one drops per kill
