Icon14 Beginner/Leveling AA Advice

I've just recently started laying EQ2 for the first time a month ago or so and was looking for some AA advice. Most of the threads I've seen have dealt with what AA's might be wanted at or near max level but I haven't seen much on what you would want to select as you level/gain AA points.

For instance, I'm currently a level 24 SK with 18 AA points. So far I've put 4/4/8 points into the INT tree for the spell crits. But what would be some good choices from here?

Playstyle I'll probably be doing alot of soloing while I level with some occasional group play. I'm not very familiar with the world or whats available to do so solo work tends to be pretty easy to work with.

After the INT line, what would be good to start investing in first, and then after that, etc.

I also saw mention of getting AA mirror(s), what is involved with that? It certainly be handy to be able to have multiple specs available.

Thanks.

4/4/8 Int first always, then I would say go for reaver.
After that I would go 4/4/8sta

personally i am more of a soloing sk and i maxed out unholy weapon and infernal blessing first in the sk tree for the heal boost then started working on:
448 int (done)
448 sta (have 1 point in crits now)
max out str for the 10% bonuses (will be working on this when sta is where i want it).

with mastercrafted gear i can solo runneye at level 47. i dont know if this is an accomlishment, but i feel strong when im doing it.

Thanks for the valuable suggestions - it definitely gave me useful guidance.

I think I'll go with a different order based on my experience as MT in Crushbone Keep last night with good gear and Ad3 spells. I did OK but I still lost aggro some times.

Since a young SK doesn't have lots of AAs, I think it's best to go where you get the most bang for your buck in the early days.

So both my Group MT and Solo builds will start with INT to get spell crits, I guess.

---

For Grouping as MT the most important thing is keeping agrro. That seems to mean following the Hate line:

So that would probably mean maxing out Dark Caress, Decree, Taunt, Rescue and Shield Slam to reach Sipon Hate. Then once I get Death March put some points there too.

--

After that I'll probably go down STA to melee crits then STR to hate and maybe all the way - or vice versa. That's a long way off yet.

-----------------------------

For Soloing, I think the most important thing is to be able to heal yourself. If you can keep yourself healed you can usually win the fight.

I'll start off with the Reaving Line:

So I guess that would be 2 in Unholy Weapon (I'm not sure how valuable this is), 5 in Infernal Blessing, 5 in Grim Coil, 3 in Leech, then 5 in Consume Vitae.

Since the next two spells, Tap Veins and Mana Sieve are level 55 and level 52, I can't go farther.

So I'll probably fill out the rest of the line that I skipped and maybe put some points into FD or move over and do the STA line as far as melee crits or even look at WIS.
