I noticed that several other classes have a list of what gear is best for each slot or a top 3 in each catagory. Can some of the more experienced sk's help in compiling such a list here? I noticed a lot of threads here comparing one piece to another but, no complete list for all slots.

Your help is appreciated.

I did see the post by Lopann that had a list of some common gear amongst sk's now. Is this list the 'best' or just what various sk wear?
I think it would be nice to have a dedicated thread to what the best 3 pieces are for each slot. Then people can discuss why.

Best Gear? I would prolly go with 6 set of the apathetic gear (VP set) and a Curiass of Hatred, or the Reinforced Slippers of Ballance, and that would most likely do it for armour.

Unfortunatley, I don't think you could have just 3 best pieces for a SK for each slot. it would have to be like 3 best pieces for a MT SK 3 best for OT sk, 3 best for Melee spec DPS sk, 3 best for caster grp DPS sk. Sadly depending on your roll and were you normally get stuck depends what you need for gear. I think i Have like 3 36 slot boxs of gear i keep on me for different grp set ups and situations, and another 3 boxes in the bank that i use less often, but might need one day, again. Blame SOE for crappy Itemization TBH.
