Looking for some more specifc Advice
I've pretty much lately gone from raiding to grouping/soloing not by choice just by virtue of a guild falling apart. In trying to keep with being hybrid and doing both things equally well dps/tank trying to balance both my int and my str and when i'm actively tryig to dps i seem to only be pulling between 1k-2.3 wondering if by look at the gear and stats i have anyone can give me any insite into what i may be doing wrong or am i just hitting a wall that normal casual player would hit. EverQuest II Players
any info would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Looking for some more specifc Advice
T8 Shadowknight DPS is based highly on "blue effects" I.E. Melee Crit, Double Attack, Spell damage, Spell crit, and CA damage. It is still important to keep All four "nessecary" stats up of course. But doing so while getting the right blue effects is crucial in RoK. My self buffed stats WHILE TANKING are as follows:
Health: 10,688
Power: 7071
Mitigation: 50.4 %
Avoidance: 38% (without devious evasion's parry, in offensive stance)
STR:764
AGI:333
STA:710
INT:703
WIS:169
DPS Mod: 17
Melee Crit: 43%
Double Attack: 11%
Haste: 43
Those stats go up a bit for my raid gear, but that is my instance tanking gear, I always tank in Offensive stance, unless its a particularly hard hitting encounter. But that spec usually hits 1.4-2k depending on the group.

Hit the Blue Buttons. Your CA's do shit for dmg, and your Single Target spells take too long to cast for the dmg they put out.

Re: Looking for some more specifc Advice
Get some half decent wrist items that you'd keep for a while and adorn them. Same with a shield. 33% avoid, even in off stance seems low and it's often adornments that make that difference. T7 adorns work fine if you think you'll be replacing the gear soon.
Keep farming maidens for: \aITEM 296465230 1450785174 -1635146821:[Mantle of the Jarsath Tribe]\/a
Queen in Chardok : \aITEM 720382416 495275327 -1364814594:[Incarnadine Earring]\/a
"Rare" named in Court of Korukust : \aITEM 2079592809 -871508100 -1999153559:[Shackles of the Court]\/a
Dagorn Exile quest line : \aITEM 2076819347 1338748035 113140830:[Threaded Steel Ring]\/a
Sebilis quest line : \aITEM 2126398145 -457535818 863180749:[Reet Sash of Championing]\/a
Once you make up the avoid loss that running in off stance causes it's a lot safer to stay in it for almost everything and anything.
Not sure what else to offer.

Re: Looking for some more specifc Advice
I'm sitting on the following solo:
Health: 10,400
Power: I dont know - dont care - never run out of it.
Mitigation: 5500ish when defensive
Avoidance: around 8500 or so when defensive.
STR:650ish
AGI:300ish
STA:580ish
INT:650ish
WIS:100ish
DPS Mod: 12
Melee Crit: 49%
Double Attack: 15%
Spell Crit: 70%
Haste: 42
I never hit under 2k zonewide. Normal fight I do 2300 to 3400 dps depending on encounter and group setup.

Re: Looking for some more specifc Advice
guess its a good thing i kept some of the jewlery from all those quests. I normally tank in offensive and healers dont usually have an issue keeping me up even through multiple encounter pulls. i have almost evey piece of my gear adorned with the what i could for parry/ balancing my stats out.

Re: Looking for some more specifc Advice
IMO
have your dps stats at 650+ (int and str).
I wouldn't be focusing on spell crit gear we got enough as is anyways, find anything with +melee and double attack.
I notice some people said just focus on blue icons?
I disagree.
You wanna build your dps don't spam it. Work your way up if you spam you will probably pull aggro. *thinking from a raid dps perspective* Build your dps gradually, get dots in, then singles. Don't gimp your melee attacks or CA attacks. Some people say CA doesn't do anything...again I disagree my haste attack and agony I've seen hit over 1k and those are almost instant casts. Your +melee will effect your CA's and your crimson circle most people believe it is a spell base crit...it's not it works off of melee which is messed up but that's the way it works, same with Pariah's strike..also more str you got better those spells are.
Crimson circle does more dps then pain aura btw. Specially in aoe fights. Think about it a CA within a Spell.
Use your sk pet it's basically a dot ticks every 2 seconds for a 30sec duration, your pet can crit as well.
Use everything you got, but do it in an order that builds DPS not spike s it.
Don't gimp melee.

Great way to use your first post.
Instead of being a faggot why don't you explain WHY you think he's wrong.
