Devouring Mist - NERF or MISTAKE?

Aparently we got nerfed on LU44, i just now realized today that this ability now only returns 1 small bonus to mit no matter how many creatures its effecting, so instead of recieving 1344 mit for it effecting 4 creatures we only recieve 336 mit (asuming its adept 3). Please remember this ability uses the ordination skill so this ability has a extremely high chance to be resisted considering we have no buffs for this skill and pretty much zero gear that buffs it. I usually only get it to land on one or two creatures in the encounter when fighting mobs that even matter (avatar adds that is).

What else would this ability be useful on in ROK? Overking perhaps, but this mob is a pushover. Just trying to understand why it was nerfed, maybe a accident when they were fixing the issue it had of showing up as a noxious uncurable detrimental perhaps?

As it stands now SK has lowest avoid, lowest HP, since ROK quite possibly the lowest dps, and now they take our mit... Whats next SOE?

haven't checked this either but it's a mostly pointless side effect to the spell imho any way, since you lose the mit as the mobs die any way. I never really used it for the mit portion only the debuff portion.

OMFG - the only encounters I tank in raids now are the AE ones and this shit helps a good deal.

If they fucking ninja nerfed us... FUCK THEM.

I think that the effect is showing as only providing a small amount of mit, but if you open your persona window when it's active, there is a larger boost. I did notice today my mit jumping approximately 6% when using Despoil on encounters with three members. I think the numerical value was several hundred points, or a few percent. I also noticed that the effect does not end when the enemies die. In fact, it persists until the effect expires.

EDIT -- nope, I was wrong. Only 294 mit boost, regardless of the number of creatures affected. Definitely FUBAR.

However, we can keep it up always now, as last i checked it didn't wear off when the mob dies anymore.

I guess this is their "fix" for all future single target encounters.
