Yep you are the only ones right now that is fucked up on balance.Guards bitching bout monks tanking instances?. Hell wizards, and scouts can tank instances any one can if have a good dps group and healers.I dont give a shit honestly i have no problems finding groups.

What is funny however is the fact that since this sk/crusader fest has started.Now you got bruisers comeing out on forumns chimeing in and saying yeah we are fighters to we should be able to mt raids yo.

Guardians have had there share of bad mechanics in this game as well.You are not alone.Hell when eof came out guards, and zerkers where tanking in leather becuase soe fucked up mitigation vrs plate.

We have never asked for abilities that went beyond our arch type profession though like sk/crusaders are right now though.Fuck soe went ,and gave us a equivalent bruiser ability dragoon reflexs in our aa we didnt ask for.Fuck we dont even need it not many guards actually use this.

We have never gone the path of throwing threats at soe of canceling accounts.Moaning,bitching,wineing,
crying to the extent your class has on these forumns or eq2 players.

Like i said before the threats are just a cry for attention.If your really that unhappy reroll, or do as you said quit.However you wont becuase your threats are no different then some one telling you there going to comit suicide.Just a cry for attention.

This i Want to call out, because bolded in completly wrong.. Now I will agree there has never been the implosion that in guards EQ2 forums, I have to exclude EQ1 and Steel warrior though. But in retrospect this implosion has never happened to in the SK Forums until now.. And literally only due to the fact that The Broken Pieces have piled up way to dam far...

as for guards ... I am not even going to bother with the stuff I've seen them ask for, Cause all its going to do derail this in a argument, cause your obviously on the set track that a guard has never asked for something more then expected train of thought.. And only way to prove that right is the downgrade everything... Regardless how dumb it was. and I ve see lots of idiot things asked for by all classes.. Though Ill never sit there and try to defend that .. and say that everyone that has played my class has this "pristine" view...

But right now your saying to me is, the Guards have been pristine happy posters who never asked for much nor threatened or complained about thier class in such ways ... So then... why are you posting in the SK forum? Why do you give a shit about the topic going on? You come down here calling out people for asking for class consideration, and then make it your own?

Honestly, you come across to me like you are scared to death that SK's might get a little revamp. Is there another SK in your guild about to take your spot or something?

Lets think on this for a second... the one extreme advantage you guys have over SK's, is your Buckler Spec DA line. If they took that away, what do you think would happen? Would it be similar to what you find here?

Guess what, we've been doing without it. On top of that our AE's are now useless 90% of the time, our spells not so adjusted to keep up with the T8 melee dps. Add to that most guilds rejecting SKs in favor of guards, and the SK's that are in a raiding guild with VP loot do roughly the same offensive dps and a defensive geared guard. And you wonder why we brought it up or why we are pushing the issue? Do I need to explain it to you? Has it not got across yet?

You guards have had this expansion handed to you on a silver fucking platter, and you are down here in our forums hoping that things dont change for you and make shit a little less easy for you to mooch by on.
So fuck off and go mind your own elsewhere.

Skar sks need upgraded dps and spell ability/ I have stated that several times. I am not against sks getting fixed to be inline ,and balanced out.Little revamp as you say?.Your makeing a mockery out of your so called little revamp by asking for shit that does not pertain to your class.Deul wield, 15 % spell da, and da.Fuck to boot your even asking for equivalent survivability to that of a guard.

Sks will never be a raid mt so no im not worried a damn bit.Your a fucking hybrid class and will always be a hybrid class.Guardians no matter if you chose to believe it or not are a pure tank class, specifically designed to do just that tank ,and take incredible amount of damage.

Have your dps increased .and spells dmg. honestly i dont give a fuck if you parse higher.However your not stopping there. You are also asking for guardians to be nerfed ,and have your mitigation increased to be equivalent to guards.

I said it once i must have said it a million times go ahead take away guardian da.Doesnt mean shit we will still out parse you currently in defensive even.

Fuck i am mting raids in rok. i use a tower shield ,and do not have mythical. i am in defensive the entire time, and im higher on parse then outhers. I am not debateing guardians dps is higher. I have been saying all along your class ,and outhers just did not get properly balanced.

It is not just becuase of da/mythical.Soe fucked up balance period with every ones classes.They did not properly figure out all additions in to the mix.+10 lvl + additional aa + new gear higher stats increments+ adournments that add + ca dmg.Gear that adds + ca dmg.

The frigging list can go on further.You cry nerf guards all you want all your going to do is cuase many outhers includeing yourselfs to get nerfed in the process.

You want fixes fine get fixes that pertain to your class spells and melee dps. FFS asking for duel wield ,ability simular to tos, ability equivalent to paladins amends, da .Jesus christ why stop there why not ask soe to also give you scout stealth and track ability/ coercers mez and charm/healers wards and sanctuary/casters pets/ports/fusion/manaburn/lifeburn.

I am being dumb why becuase i see you asking for shit you will not ever get.Plain as day your a hybrid class your not ever going to be the best tank for raids.However you should be brought more in par with the outher fighters to have more use on raids / groups.Increased dps/spell dps, and mitigation factored a little better then current.

Oh btw also to the guy posting a thread started 2 months after eq2 was released.Guardians which where known as warriors in eq 1.Where never asked often for groups in early stages of game.All outher tank types where.Guards /warriors where only ever really needed /wanted the most when came to raiding.Y was that oh becuase thats the only damn thing we excel in and specifically designed to do.
