Icon4 SK Total Build

Hey,

I'll appologise for the repetitive nature of the title and for seemingly NOT searching for this.

Ok I wanted to ask for a total, complete build listing (with screenies, I dont mind) for a raid orientated SK. Everything - Racial Traditions, Crusader Achivements & Shadowknight Achivements. I have tryed to get this by searching and all I can see is a pile of treads that squable over which is better ... Yes so far I'v got the 4-4-8 INT but thats it, the squabeling makes it really difficult. So could someone list this out for me please?

The race is DE. Thanks in advance, and I do hope this isnt going to piss people off too much.

hmmm

DE racial traditions shouldn't matter - once you reach 80 you can have everything that is available (barring some tradeskill boosting stuff)

boost hitpoint pool (increase hp pool by x%) - power pool, power regen, health regen can all be easlily added by gear if you need it.

take the direct str boosts

resists = whatever

M2 spells - Taunts are possibly a best bet when they are available (even tho our aggro mgmt is really gonna be based on how much damage we can keep doing) - definately take the group taunt as M2 since it has a disease debuff built into it and our spell damage is all disease. Check the broker for master spells that are cheap - if you can get one of you choices cheap - it might be wise to grab it and then take another spell as M2.

For the Crusader tree - 4-4-8 Int minimum, Staminia line, probably max melee crits and hp pool add DA if you like. 70 points is enough to max 2 lines to end ability and 4-4-8 Int, with points left over to enhance other parts of the tree. DONT add points into heal crits - no effect for SKs and the abilities beyond it are not worth the lost points to get there. Str line is probably the most common route to go - as the end ability is a 10% cast reduction timer for our spells. Wisdom has decent boosts for weapon skills (slash, crush, pierce) for hitting higher level opponents, its fear resist has had mixed results (at least from my reading - but a mirror will let you save a wis config if you must have it). Agi's multiple target autoattack may be a good spec as you are leveling up, but once you hit RoK most encounters are single target and points might be better spent elsewhere.

For the SK tree - with 70 points to spend you can have all 3 end abilities. Things you want to spend points in: Unholy weapon, Decree I and II, Deathmarch and Tap Veins (these spells are 50+ so wait on spending the points) Things to avoid spending points in (Rescue, Despoiling Mist)

I am not even close to an expert on this - all my info is based on my interpretation of the masters that have posted before on this board. Ive tried to piece together a decent spec based on their exhaustive testing. If this doesn't give you at least a decent starting point, use the search tool again and find the posts for yourself.

Check my raid thread, any of the gear listed should be acceptable to use on a raiding sk, aswell as AA setups.

As far as Racials DE is always good, i myself use woodelf, which after the changes to race really isnt so hot anymore, but we do get a good AE and a STA booster (Pic).



For stats i usually look for gear with STR and INT. Usually those pieces will have a decent amount of STA or AGI along with them, but by doing so you are going to utilize your dps more through your gear by selecting those primarily based with STR and INT. Now anymore I am by no means Endgame geared, but my stats are still substansial and i can still put up a decent amount of DPS.

Solo once your stats are around 500 or so, you will be sitting well above the 700 cap for your stats, (Red)



With crits the desirable amount is going to be somewhere around 70% for your spell crit *aa will put you right there*, and melee as high as you can boost it. (Blue)

Now as far as Avoidance and Mitigation go, Most of the shit listed in my thread will give you a pretty good amount of Mit, but with the AV (Something that we lack a considerable amount of compared to other fighters) you are going to want to boost it. Parry adorns work well, etc. (Green)


For AA my setups pretty common, ya fuck you all im not at 140 yet i slack, but whatever. STR line, STA maxed with DA (Some people like it some dont, i prefer it for a stabilization tool) and int for crits.



And for Sk tree i go Reaver and Siphon hate (see below)

Dark Elfs get an ability on a 5 min reuse timer that increase their offensive capabilities tremendously, if you have it. You know what i'm talking about. That shit is fire.

No problem, for what little I did. I think you'll find SK's as general are more helpful then most other classes. There are so few of us, and we have such a low rep that we tend to want to teach anyone who wants to play one everything.
