I know for a fact that some classes have really long casting nukes that hit for huge numbers, so they are casting less spells then say a chanter or a shadowknight. Also there are classes that do a larger % of there dps because of there crazy auto attack damage.

It is my thought that certain classes hurt more dps-wise do to the spell/CA lag now experienced in practically every raid instance and the shadowknight is just one of them.

Lag hurts everybody, but classes like assasin probably suffer the most with a bad connection or a crapy computer that can't give the the FPS they need to see they are behind the mob ect.

Shadow Knights are hurt by lag yes, but some have it alot worse than us when it comes to lag. Put us on that list but not at the top of the roster.

When you think about it, you don't need client intervention to calculate and dispense auto attack. Player casters get fucked the most by lag.

i think any class that has to spam to generate a good parse is going to be extremely adversely affected by lag

that said, the worst fucking thing in the world is when im casting wrath and the mob moves, so i wait for it to hit the end of the progress bar and start running to the mob, except it hangs up at 99% casting progress and continues to sit there while i run, which ends up as an interrupt.

Most lag comes from a horribile PC/Internet Connection. I can log on and play just fine without a hint of lag. I'm running an up-to-date model and have a cable connection.

Alright lemme clear a few things up here, i ment CA/spell lag due to the shitty soe code yes! I'm not talking about having a shitty computer, my computer is great, and my cable connection is superb.

Mostly happens in what apears to be the highly populated raid zones, like for example when SOH first came out there was the worst CA/spell lag i've ever seen. But we still get it in mostly every raid and or raid zone, Even VP which only we have access to on The Bazaar except one other guild which we know wasnt there at the time and the many other times we've felt it.

So basically my thoughts are if sony is going to fix certain class dps they should fix the shitty raid lag first. Yea i know this effects every class, but some more then others.
