Yes, some 2h weps from EQ1 had defense bonus on them, and were crusader only. Also, the best 1h weps in the game were crusader only.

Funny thing, all the great SK minds in this game still are on the same page. Oddly enough, the Devs who supposedly have 2 playing SKs, do not agree.

WE NEED A FUCKING MYTHICAL 2HANDER. PERIOD.

Just toss in a mob that will trade us a 2hander. Like Soulfire, done. How hard can it be? Give us a ghey Effect on it like : Hilt Defense 3% to Chance to Block and we'll be happy.

Seething Hatred is rubbish.

6.0 delay - good, waiting on high damage numbers before I clap my hands.

i dont have an exact number for the dmg but would be near the vp axe for the fabled and mythical would be more.

3% isnt good enough for it i want atleast 1500 shield factor then maybe add 5% parry or block ( block would be best but parry makes more sense). Id be more exact with numbers but recently i cant even log ingame, sony keeps booting me back to desktop at loading entity resources.

I posted this back when Dogmae was asking for suggestions about our mythical. Anyways IMO I think our damage spread should look close to the ranger's mythical (2hder).


Ranger - Eagle's Talon
Damage 204-1156 (151.1 rating)
Delay 9.0 seconds


SK - Sedition, Sword of the Bloodmoon
Damage 70-800 (145 rating)
Delay 6.0 seconds


Doombringer Pendulum
Damage 120-680 (133.4 rating)
Delay 6.0 seconds


I also put the rating of the Doombringer Pendulum in here because any SK who has their mythical will most likely have one of these in their bags when using a 2hder. If SoE ups the dmg rating of our mythical, we'll gain DPS and there's no need to switch from 1hder to 2hder - at least during this expansion.

As Skar mentioned, some of the biggest things we wanted was given to us.
1.) +CA/Spell dmg on it
2.) dmg proc (Sure as shit better be a big proc) not some 100-300 bullshit.
3.) the bigger delay to hit harder.

When the simple fact remains that our mythical should have been a 2hander.... As the crusader class was ment to be.

Unless the proc/rating/spread is enough to make us t2 DPS it's not gonna fucking matter in the context that we're still broken for raids.

Oh wait, I mean WOOT! I have something fun to look at in the examine window while waiting for some OT's to die or retire P

Changing our Mythical to a high delay and still let it be a 1H is a good thing. Makes it a usefull weapon for tanking with decent DPS.
If there will follow some changes that bump our spell damage a high delay will be even more usefull.

The Hate gain is ok. Not beeing a proc would be better sure. Comparing to the Berserker is difficult cause no one will try to bump in combat
health reg cause it is not usefull in any other kind. Aggro is not our problem btw.

I am curios on the damage proc. I guess it will have the typical mythical proc chance that cant be altered by other effect.
So how high the damage proc will be is the intresting part.

+100 Spell damage is a fix not an improvement in my eyes So Ok.

Only thing i would have like to see would have been one defense stat like +10 parry or defense cause this weapon is a tank weapon.


Anyone who wants a 2H for DPS can get some nice 2H elsewhere. At least to 2 of them you have access to if you have access to the Mythical.

Really, the only 2 hander worth using over our mythical, even in its current state, is the war axe.
