Yep you can, as long as you flagged/scribe the spell adept I-III/M1 as long as scribed it originally you can change them back and forth.
I had M2 taunt, flagged Adept III taunt, Crimson M1
Switched taunt back to adept III, picked up Crimson M2 when i got my mythical.
If ppl are curious why is because crimson circle benefits better with Splurt than the single taunt DoT.
Taunt= 3ticks, Circle = 5
