Default AA Help

Im new to EQ2 and im playing a SK and curious if someone can give me some pointers on the way I should go with my AA. Im not sure if there is any must have AA for the SK. Im still a newb and still dont know which AA have the most effect. Im still learning the class. Any AA suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have looked at the posts about AA but havent seen any setups really. Im not asking for the easy button just some suggestions.

Thanks for any info in advance.

For the Crusader tree, spell crit from the Int line is essential, really. Most also like getting the end ability from Str line, and the double attack along the way. After that, it's usually either the Sta line (for max HP and melee crit with Divine Aura), or some points in melee crit and some in the AE auto-attack from Agi. All depends on whether you want to do more single-target or AE DPS, and whether you feel the need for the partial damage immunity from Divine Aura.

Default Re: AA Help

there's a million threads on the forums about this, but...
Crusader Tree
STR 4-4-8-8-1 or 6-8-8-0-1 or 4-6-8-2-1
STA 4-4-8-8-1
INT 4-5-8
OR
STR 4-4-8-8-1 or 6-8-8-0-1 or 4-6-8-2-1
AGI 4-4-8
STA 4-4-6
INT 4-4-8 ( or however man points are left, I'm too lazy to count it )

Shadowknight Tree, doesnt really matter where you put your points as long as you get the 3 end line abilities, getting reaver first.

Shadows Tree, everyone has there own way of doing it.

Heres to give u an idea of what a SK need dps wise:

Around 50% of our dps is from the melee auto attack (dunno bout low lvls tho) so boosting auto is essential. AE hit, DA, Dps, Haste, MC and such

We are a spell oriented class wicth means we need spell boost to succelfully increase our dps. proc's, spell dmg, SC or whatever.
other things like melee hit procs and CA dmg are good but not as useful as the spell ones.

And as a crusader we get our very own TC (time compression) if u dont kno what that is ask an illusionist. and that is Very useful. its the end ability from the STR tree so u might wanna get that, rest i leave to u, test diff specs and tactics and read up on forums frequently and ur well on ur way.

One thing most people won't remember is that as a levelling character, you will only have 50 points to spend in your trees for quite some time.

As a new player to this game, I went ....

STR 4 - 8 - 8 - 8 -2
INT 4 - 7 - 8

for a total of 50/50 in the Crusader tree.

At level 60, I almost have enough point to get reaving as it's the ability in the Shadowknight tree that I am focusing on.

Unholy arms - 5
Life pact - 5
Harm touch - 5
Tap veins - 5
Reaving.

After that I will probably work on getting the death march and Feign death reductions.

Negative, INT 4-4-8 and STR lines > Reaver imo.

But Reaver should be the first goal of the SK tree once you get into it. The crusader trees are just more powerful, point for point.

I took reaver at lvl 14 with 21 AA and I mirrored the INT and STR line with 4 4 8 into INT and 4 into STR, With the ACT parse I seem to do better with Reaver. Also I heal and end up with alot more health at the end of the fight.

I will stick with reaver and max the STR line so I cast and recast faster. I would think that the more I can cast and the faster the better I can do in PVP.

Of coarse my next rout will be INT 4 4 8 then I would like to get 4 4 8 into STA and AGI but I geuss I need to choose one because there wont be enough points.
