*cough* I was one of the first Zerkers on Blackburrow period. I've had my account hacked more times than a whore gets fucked in a year. I was a raid mt before we got AAs so can I has win? lol

I love you guys. I have always loved the Shadowknight class and community. Now, I havent been around for what 2 years now(?) What the fuck happened to you guys? The SK peeps used to be the people that I wanted to have my back when shit hit the fan. I mean ya you're class was horrid compared to mine when I played, but when we got into the real shit and people all around us started dying I could ALWAYS count on the SK that was with us to help pick up the pieces and give it their all. What happened to all the badasses that were willing to take shit from everyone else for playing a broken class but still be there to do their best to save some bitchass wizzard? On the less serious side, where are the fun loving SKs? Man I put together so many PUG raids and shit where we only had half a force going in and maybe not even a real healer class, but damnit I'd have 3-8 SKs there with me and ready to break all their fucking gear trying to have some fun and shit we usually did.

My point feels lost in this wall of text so here I go trying to get the damned thing across to ya'll:

I am disappointed in you.
You guys used to be the coolest SOBs on earth and could roll with whatever was thrown at you and grin the whole damned time. You finally get some much needed lovin' and you go around being assholes? Maybe it's just that all my budds left after I did and the only people that stayed after the dust settled were shitheads. I doubt that, but that feels more optimistic to me than to think that a brotherhood, an entire community, went to hell just because someone finally decided to give them a fix. I don't even know what kind of beefing up you guys got because i havent followed the game in forever and generally only come here to post on blackburrow and see if my old friends still play.

Shouldnt every single one of you be excited that the devs are finally acknowledging that your class needed a change?

IDK maybe shit has changed too much for me to comprehend your oldfag and newfag blight. In my zerker hay-day after KOS all we had to do was tell people to go 448str 448stam and 448 int and then from there do whatever the fuck you want and be happy with being fucking nuts. Lol I still remember having to argue and show parses with buckler spec to other Warriors to get people to see that it really was the best spec for us. It's funny tho, I don't remember ever calling anyone stupid or being anything less than humble.

Sad to look back and think that a 14-17 year old boy was more mature than most of the people playing now. I've been trying to get a lot of my military budds to switch over to EQ2 basing it mainly on a more grown up community and have even sent them here because I remembered this site being the fucking shit, maybe that was a mistake. Win some lose some. Not that any of you care, but my respect for you as a whole is gone.

Welcome to the world of assassins, motherfuckers. Okay just giving you shit, but now you feel the pain of your class becoming easy mode (in perception) because everyone sees the parses of SKs that know their shit and say to themselves "I want to be able to do that". Getting dev love attracts noobs like flies. Soon you'll miss the good ole days when you were gimp and will pray for the nerf bat so that all the noobs will quit and find the next class that gets some love.

It doesn't help if you want to raid, because now every raid guild worth a damn has SKs (and assassins for that matter) up the ass.

Okay I didn't just come here to give (and eventually take) shit. The other day I played the SK on my girlfriend's account and HOLY SHIT I must say it was a blast. I've played a guardian, bruiser, and monk so far and I must say the SK was far more fun. Plate tank, great AEs, feign death AND evac, who wouldn't want to play one? But don't worry, if I make one I know how to read, how to look up shit, and how to learn for myself.

My point is, I like pie.
