The in-game spell description of Valor in Battle in the Shadows Crusader Line now reads 5% damage bonus to ANY melee combat art used while in a stance.

Was it actually changed in effect or is this a crap description by the in-game text?

If it WAS changed, it seems that this coupled with the Knight's Stance would be preferable to/as awesome addition to the current suggestions by the OP. Gallantry sounds awesome, but I still find my taunts don't really add much hate vs my dps, so if I'm spending 15 points on this line, I'd think the 2 damage bonuses plus the shield effectiveness would be best overall, no?

EDIT -- Never mind. After today's update, the in-game description has gone back to 5% damage increase to the proc per point.

IMO
INT(4-4-8) > Reaver > *
Some prefer Reaver first. Either way INT and Reaver before anything else.

Only two posts previous did someone answer your question. Also reroll the toon, 2aa @ lvl 25 is pathetic. 25 isn't high and can be reached within a few hours and you'll come out with more than 2aa.

Thanks for all this great info. Just found this site a few days ago, and I have been trying to read as much as I can. Right now, just level 41 and have 33ish AA points atm. I will be able to go though my AA's feeling pretty comfortable with which path to go. My only real question, is should one stop leveling to work on AA points? Both are so good, leveling and AA's.

Is their any talk about SoE going the same path as they did in EQ1, where you could choice the % you want to put into leveling and AA's? I played EQ1 for about 7 years from about the first month it came out, as an SK for about 6 and half years. I was an avid member of the ShadowKnight.com/net/org boards. Don't remember the extension. I did take a break from SoE and have played WoW for a few years during this as well. All I can say is that SKs in this game are way different then EQ2/

Level lock if you want to explore the content, or rush to the end. It matters not. Quests always give the same AA XP amount, no matter what level you are. Just try to be around 70 AA's minimum when you get to level 70, imo. Then grind out the RoK quest lines for a ton of AA points.

Coming in a future update/expansion will be the ability to self mentor (lower your effective level), and XP% sliders. Nether of these are on test yet.

Thanks Uggliey. That was my main concern. This does bring back good memories of EQ1, which is always nice of my real first MMO. BTW because of this site, I did about 20min worth of work out of 8 hours..... To much shit to read here!
