The ground set in general is pretty shit. I only grabbed the shoulders for 5% base spell / ca and 3 DA for when im not tanking. The +mit more than makes up for it. With the zealot set legendary gear with 500ish mit gets boosted to 600-650ish mit, and any fabled items you are wearing that dont make up part of the 5 set get boosted to 700-750ish mit.

This is getting off topic though, the best way for you to judge is to pick up a set of zealot.

I guess I'm a little confused as to what you mean by saying the spell dmg increase is ONLY for THAT spell proc. The increase seems to be across all dmg spells. This upgrade is essentially for Lucan's Leadership. Now, I haven't got to see what this upgrade exactly does so far, but at M1, the buff increases base spell dmg by 5%. The description seems to imply that points spent in this ability would increase that base percentage increase...no?

This used to boost +spell but now only does stamina. Avoid it like the plague until sony fixes it.

i doubt you could reach it, im probably better geared then you though

as for trample i have 2 specs one with trample one with DA
for instances i only use the trample spec but for raids i mostly use the DA spec atm

since i prefer having 100% mc i only use 5 pts in trample, that may not be optimal for aoe dps but having played a brig for a long time single target is what counts more for me =)

Evil I am not sure what you are talking about really I am sorry. Are you talking about Armor Mitigation or total avoidance?

1. If you are talking about Armor Mitigation, I am at 4997 solo. What the % is I do not recall offhand for I am at work.

Also - FULL set of Void Knight is 3288 Armor
My Current armor provides 4155 Armor

How the Void Armor is better I am not sure.

2. If you are talking about total avoidance, like I mentioned in my orginial post I am at 64.1% in defensive stance. I now have 162AA not 156AA, and in Defensive stance I am at 65.5%.

The only piece of armor I want from the Void Knight set is the breastplate, and the boots. I want the BP because of the reduction in physical dmg taken. I want the boots because mine are the only item I have that sucks.

I have more mitigation with void knight 5 set and a fabled helm / wrists. You dont seem to understand what the 5 set bonus and the shoulders give.

The bonuses on VP are better but you saying it gives more mitigation is incorrect. Your previous comment said nothing about avoidance of the new set,

Get yourself a 5 set of zealot and reinspect your mitigation to see what im talking about. The +mitigation stat that the 5 set and shoulders give is not a percentage.

Not wanting to be picky Evil but Vin always uses metrics to substantiate his opinions. For those of us still observing the discussions hoping to someday be able to contribute, could you present them also.

For example, Vin indicates that a full set of void knight armour provides 3288 and his existing provides greater. You counter that by advising he may have overlooked the five set bonus but don't indicate by how much.

Regardless, thanks all of you who are putting time in to have this debate and help us lesser SK's have a greater understanding.
