Hateful Respite – Forgive me I forgot the name and don’t have a screen shot of the ability. This ability gives you a chance to block a single attack doing more than 25% of your max health, if you DON’T ever take that big of a hit after 20 sec the proc goes off anyone, which is nice. This will do several hundred disease dmg and will increase your hate. I used it for a short while, would throw it up on incoming of a pull, because if I didn’t take a big hit about half way though I got free dmg and hate gain. OVERALL, I didn’t even notice it. Tested it in 3 different instances, used it EVERY time it was up and it only was part of 2% for my total dmg. 0/2 spent.

I don't think DPS is really the intended use for it. If you raid at all, you would be foolish not to take this. Especially since it is only 1 point, not 2.

I second that agreement, and not even just in raids. Yes, I accept that it doesn't parse much dmg but it's the single > 25% deflect if within 20 seconds that rocks. I use it as part of my pull macro and if it's up it fires, it regularly protects me from the frequent first hard hit of a named ^^^ when in instances.

2. EVERY TSO instance, boss or mob have aoe autoattack dmg. Their pet, and your buff will last about 2 mins.. If that.
3. A Brawler. Why would you group with one? There are higher dps classes in the game and hopefully you are the one tanking in this group. The ONLY brawler I have ever wanted to group with is a guy name Glok, he is in my guild and parses like 10k.
4. Find yourself 2-3 armor upgrades and you replaced the spell.

Re: Shadowknight Veteran's AA Information - NEW GUYS PLEASE READ
For the most part I think you're post was really great and informative. I gotta say one thing though, I don't know how things are on kithicor and how you seem to manage to always get ideal groups, but I group with bruisers/monks all the time on AB. I would say that every other group I am in has one of those. They NEVER tank, even when I play my alts, (80 necro, 76 swashy, 72 fury) they almost never tank. Even if I am on with one of my alts and we have a monk/bruiser they will be looking for a plate tank, even if they are the group leaders. The brawlers are the laziest fighters in the game and they do respectable dps and never seem to be required to actually tank. Now that being said I did take the siphon armament, mostly cause the bruiser/monks don't use their mitigation anyway. And there are times I am grouped with another crusader for whatever reason and siphon armament is much more effecient than donation of armament, you can get more mit from it with less mit cost. I know I can't be the only one who get's brawlers in my groups who never tank so I really hope someone backs me up on this.
The other thing I would mention is just a side note, If you do take the str line, and I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't, do not put more than 4 points into your FD. The reason is that there is a cap on the FD and 4 points brings it to like 2:33 recast, 5 points brings it down to like 2:30 if i recall, and honestly it's a waste of a point for 3 seconds on a spell with a 2:30 recast. Save your point, I had to waste one of my cards when I noticed that it doesn't improve the recast with 5 points so I am trying to save everyone else the trouble of wasting their aa point. I saw a couple of posts that seem to have some confusion on the FD, trust me when I say that if you have the str line do not put more than 4 points into your FD. BTW FD rocks with reduced recast time.
I should also mention that I found it odd that you would put points into pools of blood to save your bloodletter from going off, especially given it's relatively low amount of benefit compared to the 10 seconds of basic invulnerability that divine aura grants us. In my opinion I would choose divine aura over pools of blood any day. I use divine aura all the time for those oh shit moments, grouping or soloing. I am not saying that doing extra aoe damage is not a good thing, I just think that divine aura is a very useful spell and one that should not be discounted so easily. I swear by divine aura and it has saved my ass on numerous occasions.

I think of it this way, DA effectively adds 10 seconds to the length of time before I may die (if I do) how much dmg might I have done in that time. Quite a bit more in my opinion.
