I for one happen to like my family guild and don't intend on raiding with my sk. That doesn't mean I suck because I don't want to raid with my sk. I'm glad you are so fucking uber that you earned your fabled gear with the help of 23 other people. What an accomplishment! Now I raid with my necro so I am not saying it's easy but for god's sakes it's not that hard to raid if you can get into one, it's more of getting into an exclusive club than actual talent. It's not like you took out the epic mob yourself. I'd have more respect for people that tanked a hard group zone and got something fabled than those that had 4 groups killing something for the fabled. So those of you that think that raiding is the ultimate sign of uberness go fuck yourselves you're not shit. Honestly, you showed up, grats! Want a cookie? Your loot is great, you have wonderful stats and i'm sure your good at your class, but you're gear is not what makes you good at your class, it's knowing what the fuck you are doing that makes you good. Having all that fabled gear should just be icing on the cake.

Speaking as someone with an SK in the same position since returning to the game, no. Experience is gained, not told. I can believe that people in this position are excellent gamers and know a lot about SKs. Maybe they would be excellent raiders, given the chance, but if they haven't done it, they shouldn't claim to be able to. It's the "screenshot or it didn't happen" mentality.
I'm completely out of the raid scene now. I stopped playing and am way too far behind. At the time, I was reasonably good. I was never great. Since returning, I don't claim to be good, since I can't back it up as of yet. Perseverance and pride don't clear zones. Knowledge, skill and tactics do. I don't desire to raid right now, but I'm not going to slather eq2flames with whining.
Yeah, okay. You raid with your necro. In that case, you should know better than to post this sort of drivel. There are great SKs who don't raid, but they haven't proven themselves. I agree that there are many situations where gear < player. With that said, it often takes a good player to obtain top raid gear.
If you don't want to raid and are happy in your position, hush. As to the entire situation, I agree with the general sentiment that bad players will weed themselves out.
