Okay seriously, I have to know what you guys chose for this quest reward. They are all so craptastic that I can't even imagine how Shadowknight got listed on some of them.

Obviously if you have your Mythical the Claymore/Cleaver is not gonna be used. The shield is a Buckler. The Censor is for a healer. The Drums can't be used by us. The Bow only triggers on ranged melee atks. The cloak is meh esp. considering the Fighter cloak you get afterwards. The dagger isn't THAT bad tbh but seriously -- do you really wanna use a dagger in your ranged slot over a bow? Lol

Pretty much. If I could adorn the dagger with dps mod I would use it, but since I can't it rots in my inventory. Maybe if I had a group with absurd dps mod though.

I am going to take the dagger when I finish, and if they fix the proc on it, will probably use it over a bow considering I don't usually range auto attack, and there aren't many if any range only mobs in the game anymore.

Yeah no dps adorn for symbols is retarded. And considering that the dagger is the only real option for Shadowknights (other fighters get it worse with that shitty sword and bow only) its looking a bit sad for all that effort. Thank god the cloak the overlord gives you is awesome.

I'm pretty much capped on DPS mod in raids anyway, so losing 12, won't be a shot in the ass or anything.

Even when I have a bow equipped it's only for the stats, I haven't used my ranged attack since I got my first ranged spell. Honestly I like that I have never had to buy arrows. I have had people tell me that they use a bow for things that are out of range of our spells. Now honestly if something out of range for our spells you're too far away to pull it anyway imo. Walk three steps forward, use your wrath spell and put the bow down.

I used to think exactly like that and I can't really explain what changed, but I rarely pull with a spell anymore. I guess I just look at it as free damage - drop an arrow in it and follow it up with Malice or Coil when they get in spell range.

Not to mention it keeps my groups in place better as they are less likely to follow me as I move into spell range.

And hey - it's fun as hell to see an arrow sticking out of the mob's head.
