Merging the abilities with the stances isn't that big a deal. What I think is unnecessary is changing the taunts to deaggros when in offensive. Why not lower the effectiveness of the taunts while in offensive by 50%, keep the Mit penalty, and still leave tanking in offensive a viable choice? For defensive the taunts effectiveness could be increased by 100%, Mit increased, dps lowered slightly. This would allow secondary tanks in a raid to keep up on the hate list. If the MT gets deaded, click defensive. Makes more sense than the current lame ass change.

Oh lordz! I might actually have to tank in defensive stance. Woe unto the pitiful fighter "archetype" for having been nerfed into oblivion.

What were the devs supposed to do given the current state of tanking in the game? Were there other classes that could have been hit with the bat? Yes, but it just so happen they decided to re-vamp taunts and stances. Fear not... history shows that SOE has another nerf hidden up there sleeve for dps somewhere.

I cannot remember the last time I used my defensive stance. I shall have to find it, and try soloing with it when i'm really bored and want to do things slowly.

I'll tell you how it isn't making it more enjoyable. All these changes are making the game really boring. Everyone's DPS is going up, and everyone's tanking abilities are getting easier.

Nerf all ya want, it's still evening out and becoming a brain numbing experience.
Once again the developers have lost sight of what makes a good fantasy MMORPG, and fail to expand on making the game both fun and difficult.

I don't understand honestly. It should go from Very Hard to Less Hard.
Not Easy to ridiculously boring..

You exaggerate a bit... Honestly, how many of you have really had trouble with aggro? Its not really going to make the game any easier imo. Maybe for those that weren't so geared.... but who cares. If they dont have the gear to hold agro, they most likely won't have what they need to take the hits in a raid... maybe not even in some instances. But basically, it will make their instancing a little easier.

I don't see it changing the raiding aspect too much.
