A nub question.

I have heard people discuss a max on stats. Is this true? Any good threads or writeups on this. I currently in OS and in raid sit around 1500 Int. I think I am wasting some stats. If so please let me know. Someone told me after about 1250, you seem to not gain anything from the increased stat. True or not? Thanks for any info.

It's diminishing returns, which causes increases of stats to have less of an effect as you get the stats higher, i.e. 100-200 int is a much bigger gain than 700-800, and both are bigger gains than 1200-1300.

Once you get past a certain point, the return on stat points becomes so negligible that it's not worth jerking around with anymore.

How the fuck is that possible without a gross oversight in the mechanics department (yes, I know it's SOE)? You're saying you can add points and it actually decreases the effectiveness? I can understand no return at all, but holy hell.
