I started a High Elf Shadow Knight back on Nov 30th and got it to level 31 before I quit EQ2. Also have a 26 warlock and 16 shaman. Decided to reinstall which it is doing right now and should be ready to go in about an hour or so after the updates. Have a few questions. I want to pvp mainly wondering if SKs are worth anything when Harmtouch isn't up. Also I started the character on the crushbone server back then. Is this a PvP server? Can I transfer off of crushbone to another server? And if you had to give a general description of ShadowKnights role in pvp and pve what would it be? Thanks.

I don't play pvp, o I don't know how to answer your questions in regard to that. I will tell you though, that "tickle touch" is useless in higer levels of PvE, so I would assume it it the same in PvP.

Crushbone is a PvE server.

You cannot transfer from PvE to PvP or vice versa.

PvP servers are: Nagafen, Vox, and I think 1 other but again... I'm not a Pvp'er, so I odn't pay much attention to that.

PvE role is: Tank that does good dps.
PvP role (I assume) is: Tank that does good dps

Harm Touch on a PVP server, combined with a few other abilities against lesser geared people is an "I-win" button. Don't get me wrong, SKs are still pretty beast without the harm touch, but like with any toon you'll always have issues with certain other classes. I can't say I've ever heard complaints from SKs that PVP other then looking for tricks how to beat such-n-such class, but from what I hear SKs are a dime a dozen over there so expect to see a lot of them.

Ah. If I can't transfer him to a PvP server I won't even bother. think ill start a coercer.

If people could get Avatar gear and transfer to PvP, there would be a lot of crying on Nagafen.

Shadowknights in PvP are very well rounded. Survivability is very high, self heals are awesome, AE damage is nice, and the ability to taunt makes the SK a very strong pvp class. Divine Aura, and Shadowknights Furor is also amazing.
