True enough. I remember raiding back in the KoS days and seeing the Zerkers topping the parse over and over again. Maybe we will fade into the background on the next expansion when they make.... Bruisers the new OP class of the month.....

lyceum on one encounter in the zone doesn't count as being OP, maybe you are confusing DoF with KoS. i wouldn't know though because that was right when i was starting the game.

KoS Zerkers parsed like beasts. I remember raiding many zones and the Zerker being in the top 3 consistently. Maybe I just played with a really good one.

or maybe the rest of the DPS classes sucked, same principles apply today.

we had temps to toss out some uber parses, once every 2.5 mins. or you could rotate them and not do nearly as well on spike damage which would put you not at the top but around T2 consistently with low survivability.

sure i used to top the parse on a few fights but it wasn't very often and only in AE heavy zones which is dun dun dun! lyceum, that's about it.

soooo not much has changed over the years except you now know our secret, that we've been an ok class all along and just lacked AE content.

beside all that, the problem i have is default tanks, which to me is the description of overpowered. you have diversity to be able to tank in almost any group and situation due to excessive hate generation and the ability to maximize via spell damage or melee damage making any raid guild stupid for passing up having an SK on their raid. the people saying that we now have competition have no clue.

SK's are not overpowered. It's just the other plate tanks have not gotten the threat adjustment the SK's got. If anything you are underpowered to where you should be on threat gen. Stop crying like a little bitch, and work on getting your selves buffed up to balance it. Crying about "overpowered" and calling for nerfs left and right just makes you look like a bigger twat than usual.

Who said anything about a policy or that it is trivial? SKs where in the worst threat gen position prior to the adjustment they got, with the understanding that all the other tanks were going to be adjusted "soon" It has not happened yet, and the devs have dropped the ball imo. But this doesn't make the SK "over powered" for threat gen. It makes them "fixed".

They already stated there general thoughts on threat gen back when they were doing revision 1.0 that they scrapped. They wanted fighters to be more responcibile for there own threat gen. Will this still be the case with revision 2.0? We have no idea, but I'm willing to bet the general idea will remain and tanks will be getting some threat adjustments. Hopefully soon so we don't get even more emo warriors crying on the forums.

KOS zerkers were beast in both survivability and damage output, much like TSO SKs now. That's why I had one as a main, and the operative word "were" is also why I haven't touched mine in over a year
