Sword and Shield

Anyone else wish they would give us something other then just only using a sword and shield to DPS with? AA's are really geared towards that. I want to carry a HUGE 2 hander around and just DPS with that instead of doing a sword/shield. Zerks/Guards can dual weild, that is cool and they do decent DPS with them. I can do great DPS with a sword/shield but i want more.

Did not the SK's Epic in EQ1 turn into a 2 hander when clicked? heh

Anyone else wanting more out of weapon choices?

No, only the warriors could do that. SK Epic in EQ1 was always two handed. But it did have some tanking stats on it (and granted the bash ability) and shields were not so OP'd in EQ1 that you HAD to tank with them. But the SK epic wasn't the end all be all weapon of choice, even for the expansion it launched with. Might be a different story with 1.5-2.0 epics though. I was long gone before that.

And yes for EQ2 I would of loved to of seen two handers stay viable. But with current game design, there is no way in hell I would use a two hander. Would need to completely rework AA's for them, and re-itemize 2 handed weapons from levels 10-90 imo.

since they are adding 50 more AA's, maybe they will give us another tree that can put towards this? hm...

Yes! Totally. I would love Two-Handers being made a viable option for DPS builds.

everyone hated sk's because "we couldnt hold agro" or were called "paper tanks" now after they fixed us they all call us "over powered" and you want more i dont think we should duel weild but a nice fabeld 2 hander would be nice. i dont want to bite the hand that fed me though. i feel a nerf coming soon if to many more people complain we are over powered i think we are about as close to just right as possible without being crazy tanks.
