I just started my SK someone said go str first man i wish i would of read this, just 1 thing i don't get is why do 2-handers suck at low lvls?

From what I have read myself on here is that the you really won't see high DPS with a two hander till you get a decent crit percent. It just dosnt' out way the benifit from useing a sword and board. For example I am level 70 atm, and my melee crit is at 3% and my spell crit is at 71%. I will be working on my melee crit now, working on getting DA. Once that happens, and I max out the crit AA's I will use a two hander if I am needed to DPS, till then I use the sword and board since most of my DPS comes from my spells. Just make sure your let your auto attack go through every time.

just get a one-hander with a shield and get knights stance, 2-handers are garbage now.

ok, as soon as i hit 32 i will get a MC shield and 1-hander, whats the best a sword, or a hammer or a mace...i have only played healers or mages, so this melee dps thing is wierd to me
