MC shield get the kite shield (have +int on it) and as for weapon go with the imbued flamberge (+str and int).
Over 50% of your damage will come from spell so int is a must have stats, especialy since more int mean more HP drained from our life tap.
Edit: I went str as first then int, Now I wich I did the reverse.
68% spell crit for only 17AA is a must. Also the Spell you get on the int line is pretty good while soloing at lower lvl's
