Yes increasing spell crit will increase your aoe and dot spells. the only aoes not effected by this in the SK spell set is Death Cloud and Doom Judgment. Those are effected by melee crit modifiers.

All of our spells use INT except for like 3 or 4 however don't neglect str because it's the source of your auto attack. Abilities that are effected by str and int don't really say it's something you learn. I'll make it easy and tell you. The abilities that use both stat is Death Cloud, and Siphon Strike.

Hope that helps, imho Crusaders are one of the difficult classes in this game to understand and play properly, mainly because of the diversity in stats and mixture of damage output.
