Default Ward of Element trash mob DoTs

Hey guys,

How are you guys dealing with the trash mob DoTs?

I know Guards can interrupt this with their abilities and I know Paladins can as well.

I've tried all of my stuns and none of them interrupt the casting of the mobs. Do you all just let your healers cure the DoT, have someone else interrupt, or deal with it in some other way?

I tried the search tool, but didn't see anything on this. Thanks for the help.

If you cant take the hit then just do it the cheap way and pet pull everything or Illys have a group encounter stifle that works well.

Take the hit? Cure? There are enough classes in the game that can interrupt. If you are dying to trash mobs its safe to assume your dirge and coercer are blind retards.

When I'm tanking I have the dirge move in with me on the pull so he can interrupt the epic. Easy enough.

Chimes are your best friend here.... that and good resists. I think the dots land on me about one in 10 pulls and its cured before it gets a tick in. For a while there, I thought my kick and/or shield bash was doing the trick until my dumb ass realized that my dirge was chiming on the pull.

Assuming your raid isn't full of a bunch of 1 shot noobs your healers should be able to group cure it before it ticks and kills everyone.

Our Dirge is using Tarven's to interrupt and Chimes as usual. Works well for us.

Our healers cure it whenever it's missed, so it's been a non-issue.
