If you have been in a group with 2 tanks then you basicly have an idea of the OT (off tank) really... MA (main assist) is often the duty of the OT as well... you might be familiar of the term Split Tanking which in a raid setting is called off tanking.... So in a nut shell you are using your knowledge as an experienced tank to keep the attention of the 2nd named(s)/add mob(s) off the MT in order to take them down first before focussing on the 1st named

sres dont worry ive been burned on here for asking questions that some or most deamed dumb or noob you wont know if you dont ask. there is alot of good info these folks put out on top of the humous burns some people get for asking. lol i'll post on occasion but mainly if i am wondering about something ill seach for a thread that might have something to do with what i might want to ask and just sometimes that thread answers my question.
