There are many encounters in the TSO raid progresseion where more then one add memwipes very often and you can get short handed on specials to get aggro back fast.
You must build up aggro again and again, so youre aggro position is relativ close to the DDs. Adds in these encounters just need 1-2 meele hit on some DDs to kill them, combined with the stuns these encounter have one deaggro proc followed by stun is enough to lost aggro one time more and risking getting a DD or even some other class killed, also maybe losing one more special to pull it back.
The taunt amount is a proc so as a tank you should be most of the time in first aggro position. So its more likely that the proc hinders you then being of use in the exact momenten when you lost aggro for a seconds. The other "hidden" proc is a 1% Proc that set the wearer on hate position one, also unlikely to be of use cause you should be there most of the time.
DDs using this Items in hard encounter causing things like:
- aggro loss wich have the same effekt to tanks like a memwipe and he has to counter, losing his specials.
- Puling Mobs into the raid with hard AEs -> Wipe
- Turning Mobs with front AEs.
For Example: Running Mobs on Anashti(which ever),Ykesha or enraged Haladan are the things you dont want.
All that makes using the Signet of Betray in tough Encounter more like tying youre Shoe bands together then being of help.
Dont get me wrong using it in grpplay or in trash encounters is no problem but as already mentioned there are much more intresting items out there.
