Wondering about which is better when they are at their peak....meaning when effect is active on Dwarven king...will it outweigh the 25% shield effectiveness from Ykeshan Battle guard. Granted, the Ykeshan Battle Guard is better as an all around shield....just looking for that little edge when spanking something harder.

get them yourself and find out.

The Ykeshan battle guard will offer more static shield block. It also has melee crit bonus. Thats the short and sweet version of why its better....

Thanks Stoney....so even with its pretty drastic shield effectiveness, that would still outweigh the 5% reduction to all damage? Especially when stacked with TSO BP? Interesting.

ykeshan guard is better, but for hard tanking - Shield of the Dwarven King

What is the loss in block? Because 3% less block to get 5% less damage every once in a while doesn't seem like a smart trade.
