That's where you're wrong Calagalaga! If harm touch had a 5 second cast time and stealth requirement, then it would be worse than sniper shot.

I would like a 5 minute recast much more then more damage. With 15 minutes it is often something i maybe use evyer 60 minutes .. because there always is this feeling that if you use it now you may need it just at the next encounter to get aggro back.

I cant believe that I am going to agree with Calaglin on this one. I thought i was overshooting it with 18k but if he says 25k I'm all for it.

For T8 i think it should either be 25k, OR a shorter recast time, because honestly even 15 minutes isnt enough to use it on just names in a raid instance, a 5 min recast after maybe 8 AA would be highly usefull.

Thanks All, for your responses.

After HT Line gets a nerf in PVP with LU 36 I would see it possible to get a boost for PVE where i dont see it causing trouble.

I would also like to see it hit for 20-25k in (T8 Master I INT on the New Cap!) on an unbuffed Mob, on debuffed Mob for 30k. 15 minutes Timer untouched.

An intresting variation could be to let it hit for an amount of 2,0-2,5 x your own max HP,
wich would be another way to influence it. But thats just a thought...

I think it's really hard to say what the damage range should be since we'd have to see how they scale everything up. But I use it for the same reasons you do, Az. Not as a weapon in our DPS arsenal but a tool for snap aggro and fast burns.

A new way to foster this use without upsetting the delicate DPS imbalance would be to increase the damage based on how long since the last time it's been used. Reuse timer up? X damage. Been twice the reuse timer? x1.3 damage. Been four times? x2 damage. I don't really see the mechanic for this in the game, however. Think of it as Harm Touch vitality.
