Default SK Soloing AA setup ?

Hi there,

I'm considering to respec my aa's to maximize my soloing potential and would love some input of what you guys think.

A question I have on my mind is if anybody knows how effective the heal crit is / which spells it affects .. does it affect the dd/heal skills? the ward? Would it affect the reaver proc heal? would love some input here .

Would also like to see some input on what you can solo (instances). At the moment I've been able to do PP, Nest until the last guy who sent me to the floor pretty quick, haven't tried Acadechism yet but expect to be able to do pretty much in there. I like pushing the limits and see what I can and can't do on my own.

First, heal crits are near useless to an SK. Don't bother. None of the things you asked about get benefit from heal crits.

I won't give you a total spec lineup, but here are some abilities to take as a soloer.

1. hammer ground. AOE stun lets you get tap veins off easier
2. Spell crits. When a Tap crits damage, the heal crits too.
3. Reduce your FD Timer. If you also have the recast haste from the end of the str line, only take 4 points. (you can't reduce recasts on anything below 50%. There are other abilities that also reduce spell recasts... if you have 5 Fabled EOF set pieces, you don't want all of the points for drain vitae)
4. Reaver
5. Enhance Tap Veins (in fact, all of reaving is well useful to a solo SK)

I've done Poets, Egg including the last guy, All the named in sanctum (except the x2), the ring event at the bottom of sanctum, acadechism to D'Vinn (the mana drain really sucks in this zone. You need to have time free and be ready to work at it), One named in Obelisk of blight (TONS of work to do it, not very rewarding). One named in Blackscale. Forget Den, respawn will kill you. Have also ground down to and soloed named in PoA and MMC.

About 2 months into KoS I also soloed Rahotep. That fight took a little over an hour.

The hardest part about soloing is the pull.

Thanks for the ideas,

have my concerns about the fd timer reduction though .. but on the other hand it can be very handy on a tough named instead of dying and having to run back in some situations or if you want to train.

And I just love hammer ground and tap veins.

Feel free to recommend adornments, atm I'm using pretty defensive adorns, dmg ones on shoulders and shield, agi / sta / avoid buff where possible.

Keep em coming guys

FD reduction is great for training contested zones, like sanctum, PoA, Kaladim, etc.

get the phantom handle for your weapon (legendary, procs power tap). you will notice with crusaiders that we tend to run out of power fairly quickly w/o some way of sustaining it. if you can keep your power up you will solo a lot more than before, espescially with reaver line and lifetaps.

Can anyone recommend a good EOF AA build for a primary solo SK, with some grouping?
I know I want Reaver and most of the AAs in that line, but what others would be good?
Would I be able to keep aggro in a group without putting points into the Hate line and picking up Siphon Hate? From the looks of it maxing out all of the AAs in the Reaving line would be awesome for soloing, but I'm not sure about grouping.

Siphon Hate is pretty weak, and most of the Hate AAs just are about resistability.

You'd be just fine holding aggro in a group if you went Reaver and maxed out other AAs around it.
