wis line idea
Ok was looking at the aa's and someone mentioned the 2nd item in the wis line. Had an idea to actually make this useful keep the 1min timer but instead of 1 trigger give it a % over the 1min to proc or at the very least 5 triggers randomly over 5 mins.
Seems its the only really gimp of the combat art aa's for crusaders.

doubt anyone would pick it unless it were 100% proc always up, after the changes to agi line (Str/Sta/agi). they just gotta do something totally different with the line if they ever redo it right. make it a heavy defensive line or something like that

I agree its useless. I did enjoy it while in the caster group but now that im taking on tanking duties its pure crap and Im not sure where that stuff caps out since alot of classes get abilities to raise most of what battle leadership does. The immune to fear would of been cool when just kos was out, but i dont see much fear going on thats worth that many points to begin with. Was in a group with a friend and I asked what they thought of the weapon proc buff and we both thought it might be worth something if it was given more triggers or worked more like cob for half the recast or something. I dont see that being viable since the last changes made to the 2nd rung of aa's as it would effect timers or might make the other lines less useful. Seems like a good line for a pally to have though /shrug

really tempted to try WIS again... had it a long time ago but never really went back.
the skill buff is just great to counter out defencive stance, which would probably help for soloing. one of my biggest problems i find for soloing is if you need defencive stance your hit rate really suffers... lots of resists misses and you question wether its even worth using defencive stance at all.
just wish they would remove the HP regen buff and turn it into something useful. guess it might counter out the drain of Reaver... but 1 nuke does better job of that...

Yea with the hate changes going in the 10% passive hate from str line is useless if your the mt or even an ot on raids, thats just my opinion. I like the 10% to cast stuff for end ability but its a hard choice. With hate changing Im thinking of going 4,4,8 ,int/sta/agi . Or some hybrid within that. just feel like with the 1h/symbol im not doing as much as i could be with other setups. I liked wis line for battle leadership and maybe the 2% to everything in group bonus from last item.
I want to maximize my dps ( sometimes without a troub) and still not lose any tankability. Seems I gain everything needed to mt without much issue from buffs, etc so now its just about dps.

due to the amount of skills we depend upon, i almost feel like if we ever want to use defensive stance and still hit orange con mobs reliably you need WIS line.
Sure can get melee buffs from warden or dirge... and casting skill buffs from warlock or troub, but can you see an effective way of getting both?
but that then eats up 16 of a possible 49 you get to spend... =/

I agree it is nice to get back as you say with battle leadership in def stance wasnt really thinking about that as I had taken it for granted.
Ok so it helps the group and the sk in def stance. so thats 4,4,8 wis. I can deal with those pointsbeing spent. Honestly I can live without the min of 4,4,8 in int some sk 's go a little lower like 4,4,6 but id rather hover with gear around 72%+ to crit myself. that leaves enough for 4,4,8 in another tree with a couple left over.
Im curious which is probally better more crits inthe 1h /symbol or the hurricane buff from agi. I can forsee hurricane being a little better possibly since the combat art above it makes for a nice macro with rescue to get a loose move since rescue has a short range.
Would love to hear some input from the points of view of 1h/shield and 1h /symbol setups if taking 4,4,8 wis and 4,4,8 int which other line or going further down a single line would be more effective.

joust is buggy at best, and trample is ofc very situational. for grinding come RoK, i'm sure most SKs will switch in trample to lock down agro on half a zone at once that little bit better as they grind for level 80. but other than that or of tanking adds for avatar kills... its uses are limited.
so if your already going 448 WIS and 448 INT i personally think either STR or STA finish it off better depending on weapon delay, damage spread and the melee proc gear you have.
I've been testing out AGI since the changes (my SK is a alt, former main though, so don't play him all that much other than farming nest, PP, aced.. etc.). anyway, AGI is nice in a way, but of limited use, i'm still debating personally how i'm going to spend my points when i do drop it.

yea agi is situational at best for me and with a fast swinging 1h eh.. Same with melee crits at this point...blah!!!!!
