even on raids, if conditions are good, you can heal for a lot. off tanking adds on Saria i self healed for nearly 20k.

With reaver you can stay in on some AOEs or move in sooner after getting a big hit, taunt taunt smite and boom, you healed almost 1k hp in under 3 seconds. it's useful in every situation, to some degree.
Pools just sucks. It's mechanically the worst skill I think I've seen in the classes I have played. Ooh, i can lay there longer if a mob makes me purple while solo. In a raid, healers assume purple is dead. in a group, purple kills your aggro.
it was crappy to nerf reaver. I'm betting the dev's assume that most people have more HP, being near the end of the expansion and all. I've searched and haven't found anyone complaining that reaver was overpowering, except for one post from one PVP player who was ass hurt about being beat by an SK who finished with a harmotouch.

1. Yep, its does nothing for you solo.
2. You're not making the healers you raid with look very good here.
3. Know what kills your aggro in groups even more? Like, dying.

Ok we established that. Now lets think of a way to make it not suck.
My vote for this even though i wont spec out of hate and reaver for it no matter how much they nerf it would be:
give you the ability to cheat death guarenteed autorez with buffs once every 10 mins? or sk avoids deatha ll together and gets a 50% boost in health and power? I dunno how to make it viable and not overpowered here.... it sucks

I am going to guess the decision to nerf reaver and boost pools of blood was based on some statistics they have regarding the number of SKs that choose those two endlines. Reaver is obviously the most popular, then I suppose hate and pools followed in that order. This was their attempt to make that decision a little harder.
Reaver is good and I do find it useful in raids. Like hurricane on my swashy, I keep the icon in an easily accessible place so I can quickly tic it off in case I get hit by a 30 second incurable stun or some shit like that.
The healers in my raid know I have pools of blood, so they know to keep healing me even if I'm sideways to the stone. The boost is going to make this really badass for raiding. As for grouping, since usually there isn't such massive spike damage, there aren't a cadre of healers helping you and things progress much more slowly, getting knocked into the purple usually means you're going to die anyway.
It would have been nice to give our Hate line a boost though. Especially considering how badly the scouts are getting their hate management nerfed. Should be an interesting few raids after this update.

No matter how much they increase the unconsious HP by i'd never take that ability. even if we had 1 million unconsious HP and we became the new "unconsious raid tank" and we just lay there and go afk.

Make it a buff "untill canceled", 10 min recast after trigger. usual death prevention mechanics, heals X amount, give it a nuke right back at the mob in true SK style and i'd be tempted.
