Thread: Need advice about Adornments

Hi all,

I have an SK alt and have just got him through the COE signature quests. I have been delaying adorning him up but think it is time now. Could I get advice on adorns please, his name is Darkpug and he is on eq2u if you want to look. I have mainly CoE sig quest gear with a bit of instance stuff from my main.

Get yourself in some instances and upgrade that 130 stat armour to Drinal merchant stuff or instance stuff. If you are tanking in what you are in then healers are going to hate you.
cloak - CC if you need it (you probably do)
head - health, CB for yellow/red
shoulders - get rid of the hate gain on them, put str on them. yellow/red - block on them if you use sword and board
chest - block/parry/def for white. I prefer parry for when I use 2H but up to you. Mit ofr yellow/red adorns
forearms - str or CC if you need. AE auto for yellow/red
hand - hate gain if you need. DPS if you dont
legs - casting speed. AE auto for red/yellow
feet - spell re-use, CB for yellow/red
weapons - CB or block if sword and board
waist - spell reuse
wrist - hate gain if you need. DPS if you dont.
finger - parry/def
neck - weapon skills
ear - health
charm - casting speed

This is a layout you could use. I have used it for a while and it works with me and I tank all EM stuff at the moment. It is of course open for debate. (more weapon skills ect ect). Like I said at the start though. Your main problem is that you wont have enough mit with your gear and are going to go splat in zones like HE and raids.

Most of the time you should pick your adornments for what you need to upgrade if your low on something thats required.
