He might be thinking of Insinuate, but it doesn't drop disease resist, so *boggle*.

I cast my snare first. Then all my debuffs, then all my DoTs. Then my strongest attacks, in order of damage put out.

2. Next is Despoil and I find this doesn't get resisted as much once Chastisement has been cast.

3. Next is Death March. I prefer to cast this as quickly as possible due to the casting speed component. I can usually get 3 dots off vise two before auto-attack goes off.

So order is: Chastisement -- Despoil -- DM -- other debuffs -- spam -- repeat cycle.

3. Get your hands on some of these nice pieces of gear should you find yourself not having to MT / OT. You'll find that these items either raise base dmg, has a nice dmg proc or or raises DA/MC.
If I cast my taunts and Death March that quickly into the fight then I would be the one tanking (which usually works out better anyway). I just cast the AE taunt for the debuff, mit debuff if its up, then go for gold on my dots. After ive let the poor MT build up some aggro then I get into the taunts for the bonus damage over time.

As for those items, I wear them even while tanking (Choker and JoA... Darkfaith too but that has no detrimental effects), healers love that shit, stops them from falling asleep.

So I keep reading about how important timing auto-attacks are, but I just don't get it on my SK. If anything I notice a *decrease* in dps whenever I time autos via ACT's swing timer. This is with fabled epic on the training dummy solo.

Does the mythic's increased DR really matter that much? Because with haste I can usually get my weapon down into the 4.0 actual delay range which is pretty much ideal for spamming. I've also tried timing in raid situations but I haven't seen a measurable difference between spamming & timing, although I'm still tracking it.

I used to time autos all the time on my zerker with good results, getting about 10% more dps... so its weird that I'm not seeing the same returns with the SK. What am I doing wrong?

I've found that the short casts are hard to actually queue back to back and actually making you wait for a swing. Maybe on the long cast spells... but I usually don't cast those spells back to back. I've actually tried making myself not swing by constantly spamming some CA's and spells... but my Auto Attack always seems to make it's way through... haha. I blame lag.

Anyhow, I wanna wait til GU51 comes out and the Auto Attack bar in-game is functional:

Were you getting something like 90% of your damage from procs and spells combined on your zerker? Autoattack damage is nice to tack on there (especially with the odd double or AE attack), but it's not the bee's knees with a SK.
