You mean domestically? You realize that's a completely separate question from how much the rest of the world loves him, right? But hey, since you asked ..

Raised the price of guns and ammo with his constant bullshit saber rattling just to scare americans.
Gave us Trump as a candidate with an actual shot.
More expensive / less useful health care.
Shut down drilling for everyone for no good reason after the macando disaster.
Sat on and ultimately denied the keystone pipeline.
I won't even go into the money wasted on his swindleus package because that would require some research.

I won't include him crying and pouting every time the tea party touched him in a naughty place because in actuality, that was a little bit entertaining. "Tea Party Terrorists" will probably always make me laugh.

Guns / Ammo - can you estimate how much this has directly cost you? During the last 4-5 years how much have you paid on ammo vs how much would you have paid had their been no mass shootings.

Trump - Blame racist conservatives who support Trump, don't blame the President.

Healthcare - how much extra per month do you pay for healthcare? My costs haven't changed so I'm interested in finding out peoples' specific increases. (And if it increased a ton, did you have GOOD insurance beforehand? or was it one of those policies that didn't actually cover anything?)

Drilling - Curious how this would affect you. Gas prices are approaching Clinton-Era lows. $1.87 here in orlando - haven't seen that since before I joined the Army in 1998. (I got out in 2004 and gas was 2.24 a gallon, so that's my barometer).

Keystone Pipeline - did you have a job lined up to work on that? how does this affect your day to day life?

Stimulus package? Do you mean the one that Bush did? The one that John McCain and Barrack Obama each suspended their presidential campaigns to go discuss?

I ask these things because so many people simply spout the "Party Line" when criticizing their opponents. I generally prefer to think of how this guy or that guy affects ME. Examples:

George Bush have me a pretty nice raise when I was in the Army. I was happy so voted for him again. However he also sent me to Iraq, but I was ultra patriotic at the time and gave him the benefit of the doubt that it was a necessary mission. And it may be, that there was some super secret intel, that the public simply doesn't know about... and some greater reason for us all going there... but either way right now I think that may have been a poor decision. When I was in Germany, I had some people tell me (Native Germans) that they liked Americans well enough, just didn't like our President. Seemed like he was giving Americans a bad name. This is just from my experience so i'm not speaking for all of Europe, or even Germany for that matter, but my overall impression was that George Bush wasn't that great of an ambassador for the US to the world.

Barrack Obama has done several things that affected me. I'll start with housing - when I bought my house he had recently done this initiative that gave me a credit. Saved me about 8 grand and that helped go towards fixing up the house I bought. Military stuff - He brought the troops home from Iraq, which is a HUGE thing. I'm not longer IN the Army, but I still work WITH the Army and talk to soldiers often. Many of them were really feeling the exhaustion of morale, with the nearly constant deployments. It was a huge drain on families as well. I know Bush set the date to pull those troops out, but Obama saw it through, and I'm willing to give them both credit for that. Repealing Don't-Ask-Don't-Tell - I had friends in the Army who were gay, and had to hide it to such an extent that they couldn't even tell us. It's strange having a security clearance, and still having to lie. This was a good change and while it doesn't affect me directly, it did help improve an organization I still work directly with.

Anyway thats just a few things. We probably won't agree but I don't mind some discussion.

    1. No, because I just bought less. But i can tell you that the cost of an AR I was thinking of buying doubled within 2 months. I probably spent the same amount on ammo, but got less ammo for it because I can't find it or components anymore. 22s are especially bad.

    2. You're delusional. Trump is a direct result of kickback from 0.

    3. Can't answer that right now. I'd need to look at the company benefits packages for the past couple years. It really went up in 2015 though. I have excellent insurance, but I ran into a few things last year that are no longer covered. Among them were some changes in flex spending that no one told me about. I now have $1300 in glasses i don't need.

    4. I work in oil and gas. We had lay offs because of that moratorium.

    5. I work in oil and gas.

    6. Get it straight. Bush asked for the bailout, which was passed on to 0 who spent most of it. But 0 also immediately asked for and got a swindleus package. I don't remember which was more money, but the bailout at least got repaid.

And I'm pretty sure the Stimulus saved the auto industry. However, without the luxury of some device to see exactly how it would have turned out the other way I suppose there's no way to convince anyone either way on that. As for the price of an AR, I actually wanted to buy one too, but mostly because it's so similar to an M-16, and that's what I was trained on in the Army. After the first big shooting they skyrocketed in price (They were like 500 ish, and shot up to over 2K in some places). I was upset about that as well, but it's not like thre President set the prices, it's FEAR that drove that market up. Fear that it would be banned, and thus, people rushed to buy them up like hotcackes and the prices went insane. People have bought more guns within the last few years than ever... and I would think Gun enthusiasts would be happy as hell about it.

Well, that's embarrassing for you because the auto bailout came before swindleus. In fact, it was signed by Bush (and most of it spent by 0). Pretty sure we don't need any fancy metrics or think tanks to figure that one out. Is there anything else you mistakenly give swindleus credit for? Did it cure male pattern baldness? Make Taco Bell bring back the Cheesy Gordita Crunch? Mandate casual fridays at your office?

Here are the best articles I can find about where that money went.
How was the 2009 stimulus money spent? | The Windy City YR
    Stimulus:*How Fast We're Spending Nearly $800 Billion | ProPublica

The prices for ARs have settled down to just under a grand if it makes you feel any better, even if ammo prices are still pretty high. But lets be clear, people were not afraid of congress banning ARs. They were not afraid of the supreme court ruling ARs were not covered under the 2nd amendment. They were worried that the president would sign extra-legal executive orders to make it impossible to buy them. Why did they fear that? Was it because he was a kenyan? The anti-christ? Or was it because he said he was going to, and then assembled a team specifically to tell him how he could do that?

OK, maybe it was all 3 of those, but mostly it was that last thing that had everyone scared.

Mostly its gun companies (big gun) who are happy about the sales. I'm not going to be surprised if we find out in a couple years that he was on the payroll for big gun the entire time. For consumers like me, it's a wash at best.

I'm surprised at how many people actually think Bernie will win it all. He doesn't seem to have much chance of even winning the primaries, and if he does, he's easily the most beatable democrat in the race. If it honestly looks like Bernie will win, I expect dems to put biden on the ballot instead.

Bernie is an Independent. That alone makes him the best candidate.

As far as I'm concerned, if Hillary ends up as the candidate, I won't be voting for her, UNLESS the republican candidate is Cruz or Trump, in which case I'll feel forced to vote for Hillary. Any other candidate for the republicans, and I'll seriously consider voting republican. Granted it's going to depend on plenty of other factors, but I have virtually no plans to vote Hillary, unless Trump or Cruz are the Republican Candidate. If Bernie ends up as the Democratic Nominee however, he's going to EASILY have so many votes. There are a TON of democrats who simply don't trust Hillary. Independents too! I'm absolutely certain that Bernie could easily beat most republican nominees, especially the two Looney Tunes, Trump and Cruz.
