Really wasn't fair. The Dutch team could have tried not to run so fast, or kick the ball so hard. Was really unfair on the Italian over 35's. Really, I'm sure I spotted a couple of Italian players wandering around trying to find their teeth. And at least one was wearing an adult nappy.

It's not the age, it's the players. Why Donadoni would call up shitty players like Materazzi, Barzagli and Panucci is just beyond me.

And all those slack Milan midfielders who sucked all year (Pirlo and Ambrosini).

And then he leaves out Serie A's top goal scorer this year (Del Piero) and Chiellini who's been the best italian defender this season. Also Aquilani was way better than the sucky Milan players who ended up 5th this year.

Add in to that the absence of Cannavaro and the failure is just waiting to happen.

Italy actually didn't play that bad at all, we just played better everywhere. It's certainly going to be interesting to see what happens the second play round. I hope we get our feet back on the ground and not underestimate France. They played like wet tissues against Romania, but they're still #2 of the world.

we (france) sucked badly . i yelled during all the matchs. They were just walking waiting for an hypothetic pass , not looking further than their noise (hello teh pass at 2 meters when someone else was running alone on the other side) .
If we play like that for the 2 other matchs ,we wont pass the 1rst tour.

lol i heard that before about portugal in the last euro and world cup and see where they ended up, they didnt win but performed very well. also they started this euro with a very nice game against turkey.

spain unfortunatly in the last euro and world cup were a bit of a dissapointment after being kicked from both competitions early on.

Both teams have top quality players that can surprise us in this euro.

Tbh, I'm glad that England aren't in, and hope they don't get into any other tournaments for that matter also. Won't get tossers bunking off work, aking for early finishes, etc to go watch the fucking games leaving the people who dispise "the beautiful (LOL!) game" with 2 or 3 times more workload. Hope the spags go out soon too, since my town is almost 1/2 italian, that'll make it nice and quiet then

was really disapointed by france yesterday actually really like them

their game wasnt so bad true but they rely too much on their defense
and they would have deserved a 5:0 or higher even imo
2 goals alone for being italians :P

I admit in our defense there were some issues and hope thats fixed in the next game
