my brother who i wont name works for a company i wont name and they do stuff i wont mention.
that said he is friends with the stig, works with him, and i have met him and am not allowed to say who he is

I see your point - but they've had a couple of Veyrons on there - which are worth as much as the FXX. I'm not saying you're wrong - just saying it's not inconceivable.

Veyron = 800,000
FXX = 1,000,000
The fact the 30 people who brought the FXX aren't allowed to take the car from the factory says alot more about them than the Veyrons.

My brothers friend, who is a friend of some other friend of someone who works in the post office, who is a friend from someone who works at another post office, that knows someone who works in the BBC mailing office, that knows someone from the BBC topgear poduction team, that knows the stig knows who the stig is.

I wonder how much it would've cost to produce the FXX if it wasn't made from an exsisting Ferrari model, minds do boggle because that car was sick as anything, smashing the Gumpert Apollo by 7 seconds.
