Purge Is Recruiting Raiders
Purge is a casual raid guild on the Splitpaw server with one common goal in mind, to have fun playing eq2 together. Fun for our members includes raiding Sundays Mondays and Thursdays from 7:30 UK time to 10:30 UK time, grouping for shard runs, helping each other advance our characters with mythical and other quest updates, harassing our favourite Welsh paladin on voice and in chat, and in general enjoying a good laugh with a very fun bunch of people.
If you raid hardcore or used to, but have gotten enough flack from your family, employers, friends, neighbours, etc. that you really should get out more because they have forgotten what you look like, and you want to seek a balance between the game you love and the real world, you might find Purge to be a good new home.
If you are a casual player with above average skill at the game, can follow direction well, and think you have what it takes to raid the leet fabled loots with a cohesive team, Purge may be the home for you as well.
We seek players that like to work with a team to build all our members up a notch. Everyone, even the most experienced raiders, can always learn a thing or two from other players about how to get the most out of their class or get through an objective in the game. We help each other and value each others opinions. If it makes you smile to help a fellow raider improve their DPS, kill a new raid mob, or just laugh really hard at a good joke, then you are the player we are seeking to expand our ranks.
We have a 2 week trial period for new recruits, and offer a social and raider rank. Raider rank requires attendance of 66% of scheduled raids, as well as a demonstrated capability of following direction. We ask that our raiders select a “main”. We require new raiders to have at the minimum tier 2 armour and their fabled epic completed; we can work you into our planned timeline for Mythical updates.

MT Shaman, defiler or mystic
OT Shaman
Illusionist
Troubadour
Wizard
Warlock
Assassin
Brawler
Other classes also welcome, especially exceptional players who know their classes well, have their mythical, and can do their job to help a raid succeed.
