Haste may be applied equally but higher delay weapons will take advantage of higher haste. Case in point.
Currently weilding GDoH and Dirk of Negativity.
With my base haste of 30 weapon delays are:
GDoH - 3.0 DoN - 1.4
If they are both affected the same then why is the 4.0 weapon drop a whole 1.0 dly with 30 haste and the 1.9 dly weapon only drops .5?
With 74 haste (using finesse) these values change even MORE, with the GDoH at 2.3 and the DoN at 1.1.
So, my little friend, tell me that higher delay weapons don't take advantage of higher haste, so I can laugh at you some more.~

30% haste is really probably more like 35% on the curve:
4/1.35 ~= 3.0
1.9/1.35 ~= 1.4
74% should be relatively accurate
4/1.74 = 2.3
1.9/1.74 = 1.1
So guess what, the numbers work out the way they are supposed to..you can return to being terrible at pvp now.

You have a 4.0 delay and a 1.9 delay weapon, so you have 1 weapon that is 2.1x as slow as the other. You put on your 30-base haste, and you get a 3.0 and 1.4 delay, hrm, let's see. 1.4*2.1=~3.0. Hot-damn, 30-haste just gave them both the same amount of relative haste, thus improving their DPS(ignoring CA spamming) the exact same.

I didn't do any math, I looked at /weaponstat and copied the numbers over.

Re: Comparing Weapons After Changes:
Actually 30 haste mod is 33% actual haste not 35%. Obviously the weapon swinging at 1.1 is going to be delayed a lot if you use more than one CA in a row without waiting another ~.3 seconds before the next (with sailwind). Not taking that into account is rather dumb, don't you think?
And Jayn, go back to being a guild hopper. Think what you want of my PvP skills, could care less, Broccoli knows better than you. ;)

Which is the problem with your looking. Sure the higher delay weapons gets more delay off it, but it still gets the same relative increase as the shorter delay weapon.

Re: Comparing Weapons After Changes:
I know what you're saying, but given the fact that 74 haste is a relatively low amount, as raid buffed I sit anywhere from 130 - 220 haste mod, high haste is wasted on any weapon under 3.0 dly at the moment.
