As far as snarks goes, his opinions/comments were always helpful and he really knew the class as well as anyone (plus his gear was always something to drool over). I know how playing one class for a long time can become dull. Good luck with the templar.

On to the matter at hand:

I do like the idea of two class leaders. PVP and PVE swashies are two completely different animals.

It's like uncle ben used to say: "with great power comes great responsiblity". This title does not come lightly. It's not some Trophy to hang in your 3 room aparment in south qeynos (or your dingy cave for you exiles). I fully expect the same informative posts, knowledge of the class and it's gear, as well as the voice to represent the swashbucklers as the other classes have.

So with that in mind and based on their posts on this forum, and their general comments in WW swash channel, I think both Runaf and Coel are solid nominations for PVE, provided either of them wants the gig.

I'll leave the PVP swash to decide who suits them the best.

I truly believe PvP discussion doesn't belong here, but in the PvP forums instead. That being said, the replacement should be chosen with PvP not in mind.

I would say that there should be some PvP information on this forum, after all, PvP discussion for swashbucklers is going to differentiate from PvP discussion for wardens, no?

The class leader shouldn't be a favorites game, but more of who has the time and will actually clean up threads and keep the sticky threads up to date. Being a good swashbuckler also plays an obvious role in this department.

Good luck with the Templar, I think you will find it frustrating as you watch your reactives never get eaten and the tank get one shotted :p
