TBH, w/o looking over or doing any math I can 100% say that + CA mods for swashies just do not add up like they appear they do. If your a swashy then you kno auto attack is key. Our Ca's hit for shit, but are on fast reuse timers.
I'm sorry but + CA just is not a viable option for it to be prioritized over crit or DA. Since both crit and DA effect our base auto attack which is roughly 40-50% ish + of our ZW dps. crits and DA > CA mods. and + CA has no effect at all on our main source of dps ( auto attack )
Also don't forget Auto attack since it hits more times then our Ca's do over the course of the raid, has a huge effect on our procs, so when factoring in %'s it's safe to assume that our auto attack accounts for more then 50%ish of our ZW. What I mean is you can't just look @ slash or pierce and see 47% and say thats all your auto did.
So I'd say a more accurate % would be ( for raids ) that a swashies auto attack accounts for 55% - 60%ish + for raids.
The reason CA mods do so wonderful for assassins is because they have huge CA spreads, so they can stack up a + 900 CA mod ( not saying its easily possible, but certainly not out of reach imo ) and still reap the benefits, while swashies hit that cap much much lower, and thus do not get a greater benefit.
So imo again, crits > DA > CA mods.
This is also the reason why I believe the leather reet helm > chain reet helm in terms of DPS for a swashy, ( but w/ the leather helm being broken atm its kinda hard to prove that. )
If it turns out the chain reet helm wins in the end, so be it, at least we'll all know.
