I'm not STA specced, and I don't have to joust any AE in the game. My gear isn't really exceptional either. Then again I'm always in MT group. But I'd imagine if I had full T8 fabled, even if I'm in caster group taking the hardest AE's wont be a problem.

No, I asked you a simple question, because if you did you'd realize that swashbucklers have an aa line that allow you to stand farther away from a mob and still hit it. It's called reach. We do miss our auto attack damage but we can still do all our ca's fine. So do I step back 5 meters when an ae is called? yes, do I have to dodge it completely no matter my gear...no.
